~~~Bailee Recchio~~~ ~~~Sora: Hero of Light~~~
"Too long have I been protected, concealed, Too long have I hid behind someone else's shield, It's time for me to take my place on the battlefield, To use these weapons I was born to wield."
Bailee frowned as one of the older boys asked if there was any way to get rid of his voice. How could he want to get rid of it? She would never dream of wanting to give up Sora. He had been there for her for so long, keeping her company and gently encouraging her to make friends and reach out to others.
"Thanks Bailee, I'm glad you don't want to get rid of me. But a lot of your friends have voices of members of the Organization in their minds. And some of the Organization members are... well they're not the best people to have whispering into your head. I've had more than one friend manipulated by them. They're probably going to need help with coping," Sora explained.
Hmmm... Bailee thought. She could imagine how hard it would be to have someone mean in her head. The sound of Light crying out in pain broke into Bailee's thoughts. The girl gasped and took a step forward as Light's image flickered. She looked tired. Imagine, having to hold back this chaos thing for so long. Then Light began chanting in a strange language. Bailee felt the power of her words flow into her, so much light that she felt like she might burst.
And suddenly they were in a different town, a different world. "Hey, I know this place. It's Radiant Garden," Sora said in Bailee's mind. The name certainly fit. The place was beautiful, and flowers were blooming everywhere. Kassy called to her and asked how awesome the place was. "Yeah, it's amazing!" Bailee replied, excitedly. Then Kassy's smile faded, and she asked the same question most of them were asking. What were they supposed to do? Bailee smiled amiably. "Well, Light didn't give us any specific instructions. Maybe we should just explore a little. Looks like it's a pretty big town. Perhaps someone here knows more about what's going on," she suggested.
The heart may be weak, and sometimes it may even give in. But I've learned that deep down, there's a light that never goes out!"
'And just when I was beginning to believe that this day couldn't get any stranger.' Mizu thought to herself as she blinked to clear the brilliant light that had invaded her vision only a few moments before. Heart heart had begun to pound in her chest when she felt the rush of power fuel her body to the point where she had been sure she'd burst from it all. Now as the light faded, Mizuki blinked a few more times and looked around. The familiar public park that she'd spent years playing in was gone and in its place was a strange new setting. She found herself standing in the middle of what appeared to be a town... so.. that meant she was in the Town Square. But... what town was she in, exactly? Jeez. This day turned her world upside down. First, she wakes up to a mysterious note placed on her alarm clock that tells her to be at the park at six o' clock sharp. Now, why would she listen to a mysterious note telling her to go to the park at six o'clock in the evening? Because it had promised to explain the voice that she'd heard in her head for all these years. And while the presence in her mind and heart didn't scare her in the slightest, Mizuki would like to know why exactly it was still there. After all, she was eighteen. Imaginary friends and voices in her mind should have faded long ago. So why was it still around?
Of course, she'd recieved the answer to that when she'd went to the park at the alloted time, surprised to see a whole bunch of kids from her school there as well. Most of them were younger than her, though there were a few around her own age. And that's when her day began to spiral into something seriously crazy. A beam of light shot down from the sky and took the figure of a beautiful, ageless looking woman. But what was stranger than that was what she'd told them. That they were reincarnates of Warriors of old. Though in some cases it appeared as though some had been reincarnated from different forces, not all of them particularly good. And then there was this whole ordeal with 'The Dark One'. And then she'd done something that had caused Mizu to hear a click in her mind, and a sense of whatever power she'd sensed over the years to flood forth within her body. And someone suddenly appeared before her. Like Mizu, the young woman appeared to be around her own age and had blue hair but it was spiky and short and her clothing was odd. As if she were somebody from a comic book. The woman that Mizu came to dub 'Light' spoke again, informing them all that a world had fallen into darkness and another was on the brink of doing so. However, she did not wish to rush them into danger and asked if they had any questions. Mizu's head was spinning and she took a breath to clear her thoughts the way her father had taught her to do when she felt she was becoming overwhelmed. While a few of the group went to talk to Light, Mizu moved a bit away from them all, trying to sort things out.
She looked to the person who seemed to have come from her, noticing her attire. The girl's boots seemed to be made out of armor with sharp hooks on the outer edge. Black stockings clung to her legs and there was a small amount of her upper thighs showing before the skin disappeared into skintight black shorts. Blue and white fabric wrapped around her waist and draped either side, weaving in and around each other. A dark blue, high collared halter top adorned her upper body though her chest and midsection disappeared into a black corset that laced up on either side in front. Two pink belts criscrossed in an X across her chest, with a strange silver pendant pinned in the center. She wore bell sleeves on her arm, each one holding a three layered piece of armor at the tops, with a yellow stone set into steel and tan fingerless gloves on her hands. Over all, her appearnce was really, really cool. There was no way Mizu could deny that. 'It's a pleasure to meet you, Mizu. My name is Aqua.' The young woman said, smiling at her. The image soon faded, but she could still clearly hear Aqua within her mind. Reincarnate and original had talked while others sorted things out.
And now Mizu was in a new world. After all, what else could it be? "Anyone know where we are?" Mizu asked as she approached the group, letting her eyes roam over the other people there. She knew pretty much everyone present and while she didn't know them well as most were younger than her, she knew that from what little she'd seen of them, they were all good people. 'We're in Radiant Garden.' Aqua's voice replied within the girl's mind and judging by her tone, she seemed slightly withdrawn and very, very sad. An image flashed within Mizu's mind; Aqua falling into the Darkness after saving somebody from the same fate. She traded places with someone. But who? Aqua didn't speak again, offering no name or explanation for the vision that caused Mizu to shudder. She'd already learned Aqua's story, and how it had ended with her falling into the Darkness to sacrifice herself for her beloved friend. Apparently that had happened in this world. A meloncholy feeling over Mizu but she closed her eyes and didn't let it stop her. That had happened long ago, in a different time. Now they needed to focus on the present.
The green haired girl, Bailee - at least Mizu was pretty confident that was what her name was - spoke the name of the world and then answered the question of another girl as she wondered aloud what they were to do now. Bailee answered that Light hadn't given them any instructions so she suggested looking around town; maybe someone here would know more about what was going on. "Good idea." Mizu agreed with a nod. Realizing that some of the people here may not know her, she smiled warmly. "My name is Mizuki Kinomoto, by the way. But just calling me by Mizu will do. It's a pleasure to meet you all." Her tone was friendly and it was clear that although everything had happened so quickly she was adjusting without problem. "Anyways, splitting up would be a faster way to explore the world. There are a lot of us here... I don't think we need to necessarily all stay together. But it wouldn't be good to go off on our own, either. Groups of two or three should do the trick. What do you guys think?" The bluenette suggested, gazing around as she reached up with a hand and brushed stray strands of her hair from her face.
[[Sorry it's so long. I had to play catch-up. ^^;]]
