Welcome to the Pokemon Sub-Forum!

This sub-forum was created to discuss all things Pokemon. This includes game help, story lines, theories, trades, giveaways and challenges. However this sub-forum is restricted to game discussion only. If you want to post fan-fiction or fan-art or would like to discuss the manga or anime please go to the correct corresponding sub-thread (Creativity, Anime etc).

If you fail to follow these directions you will be given a warning. Failure to comply afterward may result in suspension.

Don't Double Post!

If you are looking to evolve a pokemon through trading or want to infect one of your pokemon with pokerus head to the official threads for each!

Official Pokerus Thread:

If you are looking to infect your Pokemon with pokerus, head over to this thread and submit a request. If you have pokerus feel free to offer your services and help out your fellow Pokemon Trainer! Check the thread for more details.

Official Evolving Thread:

Have a Pokemon that needs to be traded to evolve? Post your request here and help evolve those Pokemon! Check the thread for more details.

If a user promises to trade back a Pokemon and fails to do so please contact the moderators immediately. If this happens to you, please inform the moderators what Pokemon was sniped as well as which user took it. Not trading back a Pokemon will result in immediate expulsion. Once it has been brought to the moderators attention we will make our best effort to restore your lost Pokemon.

Giveaway rules:

If you have created a thread listed as a giveaway it must be treated as such. This means do not expect a fair trade, giveaways are gifts. You may establish your own rules however they may not go against any of the Gaia Online or Team Plasma Guild rules and guidelines. If you are asked by an admin to change any part of your post you must do so or else risk suspension, expulsion and post deletion. More giveaway regulations are listed in the second post of this thread.

Official Team Plasma Giveaways:

These are special giveaways that are hosted by the guild and are found in the Sticky thread in this sub-forum. Do not post or add your own giveaway to the thread. The thread will have instructions on how to participate in each giveaway. You can find more information on this thread by going directly to it.

Language used:

In the virtual world of Pokemon there are several acronyms that are widely used. Here's just a short list of these acronyms to help you get a better understanding of what everyone is talking about.

IV - Individual Value
EV - Effort Value
LF - Looking For
FT - For Trade
HA - Hidden Ability
* - Shiny

Giveaway Rules

Giveaways are defined as offering FREE Pokemon, held items or services.

#1 Don't create multiple threads for the same giveaway at the same time. When creating giveaway offers you can have only one active giveaway thread at a time. You may offer multiple giveaways on one thread, just please don't fill up the forum with multiple threads.

#2 Once a giveaway is over please lock the thread.

#3 No disruptive multiple posts.

#4 You may create your own rules for the giveaways. In the case that a user is breaking the rules or disrupting your experience you may ban them from your giveaway and please report them to the moderators. Calling out users and not trading with particular people in any other case is strictly prohibited. If harassment persists don't hesitate to report it.

Quick Trade Rules

When creating a Quick Trade thread please include LF and/or FT in the thread title along with the Pokemon's species.This will help weed through the threads to find the Quick Trades. If you are putting up multiple FT Pokemon or are LF more than one please include either LF or FT in the thread title as well as the words "Quick Trade". If the title is too long please at least include QT so others can identify what kind of thread it is.

Here are some more rules for Quick Trades:

#1: Don't double post. Any repetitive double posting will be deleted and receive a warning. Failure to comply may result in suspension.

#2: You are allowed a max of THREE separate active Quick Trade threads open at once.

#3 Be respectful and don't thread hijack. It may be easy to get off topic when discussing trade offers however if the discussion moves away from its original intent please either create a new thread or PM the user directly.

#4 Once the discussion is finished (for example you received the Pokemon you were looking for) please lock the thread.
