Once, long ago, all the elements lived together in a large village. They were happy and were able to sustain themselves. Then, one day, those of fire decided to leave this village to go out on their own. Others, taken by this idea, left shortly after. The village and the people were falling apart. Years later, for the sake of life as they knew it, those still of the main village decided to get the others back. The natural resources that were once pentiful had diminished due to the lack of teamwork needed to survive. There was no choice but to bring the others back. Whether they were willing to or not.

Personality: Quiet, but not shy. Keeps mostly to herself and isn't very nice to most people. She sometimes likes to watch the people of the village so she can better understand them.
Likes: Reading quietly, practicing with her sword, observing people in the village.
Dislikes: When people interrupt her, loud noises, when she gets caught watching someone.
Element: Ice and Water
Weapon(s): Her sword and her hair pins that she can throw like darts
Powers: She can channel her power of ice into her hair pins and sword and can freeze people on the spot. Her power over water is more gentle, where she can summon and move it, but not much for attack. However, she can heal using the water she summons.
Appearance: She has long black hair that is usually worn in a bun and brown eyes that are usually cold. Her skin is pale, due to her lack of time in the sun. She wears either a green yukata or a light brown turtleneck at all times.
Biography: Her mother was a vampire and her father was human. They died long ago. She's been watching out for herself for many years. It has made her dislike everyone and she avoids getting to know them.
Other: She visits the other villages at her own pleasure, but has done nothing to make them want to join back. She just goes to observe.

Personality: Harsh, cold-hearted, believes in and trusts no one.
Likes: Things to go his way, not being bothered, fighting
Dislikes: people not listening to him, people approaching him, thinking about his past
Element: Ice, metal
Weapon(s): A giant sword
Powers: Ice is used to paralyze his enemies and he uses his power over metal to make their metallic weapons powerless.
Appearance: Tall with dark hair and eyes. His skin is a little on the gray side. He wears pants but no shirt and instead has bandages around his torso and arms.
Biography: When he was young, his strength and brutality were displayed during a major incident. Since then, people have considered him a murderer. They avoid him at all costs, and he likes it that way.
Other: He encourages the seperation of the villages. He does everything he can to annoy the heads of the village and has been dubbed as an enemy. He doesn't live in the village, but on the outside, in the forest.

Personality: She loves being around other people, and tries to accept other the best that she can. Her feelings are quite mixed, meaning that she is hurt easily by the words of others though she doesn't show it directly.
Likes: Flowers and fruit.
Dislikes: Burnt food, loud people and cold nights.
Element: Air
Weapon(s): Her own ability, or random long ranged weapons like spears.
Powers: Ability to control, and manipulate air current and speed.
Appearance: Sunao is a tall girl with long blond, almost reddish hair that stops half way down her back. She carries a slight tan and bright green eyes. Sunao wears birds of paradise as a hairpiece on the left side of her hair directly above her ear.
Biography: Sunao follows after Itsuki as much as she can, trying to stay close to him when she's not at home. She has always done so ever since she was younger. Worried that Itsuki may leave her, and everyone else behind to seek the other village.

Personality: Competitive when he feels motivated, but still quite laid back. Itsuki likes being alone as much as he does with other people. But over all, he's quite a lonely, quiet person.
Likes: Writing, walking, night, festivals.
Dislikes: Bright lights.
Element: Dark, Fire.
Weapon(s): Long sword.
Powers: Weak fire manipulation, higher control over dark entities.

Biography: Originally a fire descendant, Itsuki never chose to professionally study the element. His father, a supporter of the elemental independence, left Itsuki's mother (and Itsuki.) who wanted to stay in the village.
Other: Both Sunao and Itsuki share the same mother.

Race: 1/2 Spirit, 1/2 Vampire (lawl, spirit vampire)
Personality: Very Distant, not easy to gain the trust of, very quiet until she knows the person well.
Likes: People who treat her like a normal person, people who don't go near the music-box room but visit the family mansion often. Violin. Piano.
Dislikes: People who call her a demon or ghost or anything of the sort. People going near the music-box room of her family mansion. People to mess with the stuff in the family mansion.
Element: Air, Ice, Shadow
Weapon(s): Long Claws (Grows them, kinda like lust), Fangs
Powers: Fly, phases through things, invisible. She can Use her Ice to minorly chill things. Air to make things move. Her more dominant powers over shadow can do things like block out the sun for a short period of time, completely darken things, surround people with it so they can't see anything, etc.
Appearance:
Biography: She was born a vampire and was shunned by the people of her village many many years ago. Back then, they took her to a temple and tried to kill her which only resulted in her becoming half vampire and half spirit. She is not fully living and not fully dead. The attempted kill trapped her existence in music box which she now keeps in her old family mansion. She has been known as the 'Lavender Lady' because of her dark purple dress. She consider her a demon, others consider her a ghost, other just consider her an eerie lady. Now she resides in the family mansion, taking care of it. The mansion is sort of old and falling apart a bit.
Other: Because of her 1/2 spirit 1/2 vampire combination she doesn't burn in the sun and the only possible way to kill her is to find her music box and burn it. (She is also able to go outside, eat, sleep, etc. She just doesn't do it often)

Rules

1. No Godmoding! Please!!! We don't want to have this roleplay die due to the fact that someone is "ultimate" or "invinsible" or whatever. If you have a quality that may seem Godmod-y, please explain it further.
2. Please choose no more than 2 or 3 elemental abilities! Because then it would be unfair to those who choose only 1 or 2.
3. No character killing unless the person allows it to happen. I don't know why that'd be the case, but make sure permission is granted before you do anything of the kind.
4. Keep it PG-13 please! This is for violence and romance and language...and whatever else fits there...>> Keep this in mind please!
5. No spamming or bumping please. This is a roleplay. We don't need such thigs here!
6. This is semi-literate. That means no asterixes for actions, no Blah:____, and please make sure your speech is in quotations.
7. Out Of Character put in (), (()), [] or something to that effect. Thank you.

Shiori awoke in her bed and looked out the window. "Sunny today. I guess today won't go my way..." She sighed and quickly dressed. She briefly brushed through her hair and put it in a neat bun on her head. Looking around her room, she nodded once before making her way into the bright day.

Arashi woke when the sun went into his eyes from through the leaves. He grumbled and jumped down from the tree. He didn't want to get up. But then again, he didn't have much of a choice did he?

Sunao sat on the wooden deck of the small home, swinging her feet over the edge. She was in quite a chipper mood, twirling her blond hair around her index finger. Not to many people seemed to be early risers, she was of course.

Itsuki stared out the window, as he had been doing the past few minuets debating whether or not to sleep in a few extra hours. He hadn't slept well at all the past few nights. Slowly, He drug himself out of bed and got dressed heading out the door to be greeted by a smiling Sunao. He grunted a tired reply and continued out to wander the village for a while.

Shiori was already out and about in town. She was waiting to find someone to watch, as she did nearly everyday. She got to learn more about people that way.

Arashi sat at the edge of a nearby stream. He waited until an unsuspecting fish swam towards him. He smiled slightly and stabbed his sword down, spearing the fish. That would be his breakfast.

Itsuki wandered through the tall grass field just outside the village. The green grass brushed his knees as he sunk down to sit, staring right down at a small bird. It was slow, like it was wounded and walked with slight hop. The boy cocked his head the side and stretches his arm out to caress the birds side, but before he could the bird tore off into a near tree. Surprised, he stared up at the small white bird for a few moments as it watched back.

Shiori was having no luck. No one seemed remotely interesting enough to watch. She sighed and went out into the grass. She stopped when she saw a boy's head coming out of the grass as he stared off into a tree. "This might be interesting..." She stood, watching him, wondering what he was looking at.

Darci slowly floated and passed through the ground, floating up behind Shiori. She opened her mouth to make a sound, but it was a barely audible whisper.

"... It's going to rain today..."

She approached Shiori and said lightly in the same breezy, eerie voice.

"... You'd better find some cover soon, not sure where you'd find it though..."

And with that, she turned completely transparent so she was invisible to them. It was in fact going to rain soon, but the only real shelter was her Mansion which lay eeriely only a couple miles away.
