I got to play in the soccer regionals and Nationals this year, my team won gold (we shoulda last year too) but I got to play every game BUT the last one this time!!

I went to school for Mechanical Engineering.

That's a bit odd that you didn't get to play the last game but that's awesome that your team got gold!
