how do you know when your truely in love with someone

i know im truely in love cause whenever im around him my stomach seems to fill with butterflies as some call them the feeling never goes away even when i talk to him over the phone or over the computer. he makes me hot but yet im cold at the same time. even though i have so many problems when im with him they seem to disappear. he makes me laugh even though others dont get what he said to make me laugh. he makes me smile but at the same time i want to cry cause i love him so much that a smile just doesnt express how much he makes me happy when in all truth he makes me so happy it makes me want to cry cause i know i have found my special someone. i know im in love cause i would trade my soul to the devil (if hes real) just to let him live longer then me. i have given him everything my trust my heart my mind and my love if he were to fall i would fall with him if he were to fall ill i would force myself to fall ill with the same illness. if he fell off a cliff i would jump after him if he was shot by someone i would hold the gun to the one who shot him just to shoot me as well. if he killed himself i would kill myself on the same day at the exact time he did using the same tool to kill myself. i would die for you hun i love you so much.

I know I'm truely in love with my boyfriend because, no matter what happens, he is always there to catch me. Through all the tough times we went through together, all the fights, he always seems to make them better. When I feel lost, he guides me through. When I'm sad, he brightens my day. Every waking moment I am with him, I feel like I'm in a dream that I never want to wake up from. We have been together for 2 years and yet, it feels like only seconds have passed. Every moment he is away, I can't stop thinking about him, and every time he is with me, I never want him to leave.
I love him for who he is, and nothing more. No matter how many corny things he says or does, it only makes me love him that much more.

I know I'm truly in love because my fiance has always been the one person who would stick up for me in a bad situation and put faith in me, even when it seemed like I had no clue what I was doing. He holds open doors for me, he kisses my forehead. He's amazing. No matter how bad something is, if he calls or is there with me, it's all okay. His hugs almost literally make me melt. He cries in front of me and no one else, even though crying is hard for him to do, because he was raised to think men can't cry. He watches Sex and the City reruns with me ALL THE TIME and never complains. He surprises me with emails and me days where he takes me to see a movie and we just spend the whole day being lazy. He will walk the 12 miles from where he lives to where I live, just to see me. He's even done it at 4am. He dances in the rain with me and does jigsaw puzzles with me, even though he hates them. We are both obsessed with Tim Burton and make playlists of love songs we both enjoy. We talk about baby names and wedding plans whenever we're together, even though our wedding is 10 months away and we don't want children for at least 3 or 4 more years. I've known him 4 years, and any time I dated someone, he was jealous, but happy if it made me happy, but was always standing by just in case something ever happened. He loves how I look even if I haven't combed my hair at all during the day or forgot to shave or something. He tells me if he had to pick his favorite things about me they would be my voice, my eyes, and the fact that I am opinionated and stand up for my beliefs. I know it is true love because he is mine no matter what. He never looks at other women. He doesn't judge me or put me down and always makes me happy. We've been together as a couple for a year and three months and I still feel the same nervous, excited, way I did when I first kissed him.

and that sounded EXACTLY how i described my biggest crush. You took words right out of my poems. I was in love with him. Now i dont know, but I am sure I was once in love.

I know I an in love with my girl because of the way I feel around her. I have often thought that I've been in love before, but when I'm with her I know all the other times were virtually nothing. I don't get butterflies in my stomach when I'm around her, I feel something better. I feel totally relaxed and comfortable, like I can just really be myself. She makes me feel beautiful, special, talented, and loved. Her kisses warm my soul, and her smile brightens my world. I remember one night, we were just holding each other, and we cried in one anothers arms because the love was just to much to hold in.
She's beautiful, talented, intelligent, and my muse. She helped me through the worst time in my life, and has turned everything around for the better. She has inspired my art and writing, and even helped me to find my voice in singing and given me bravery on the stage. She's gentle and patient, honest and true, the only person I have ever truly loved.
And even though I hate to think of this, I know that even if this relationship does not last, there will never be a hard spot between us. We will always have tender feelings for one another, and reflect on this magical love of our youth with smiles and warm hearts, as tears of joy flow down our face.
