-=I've more or less completed the introduction to my fanfic. I made the intro with Gaia's tags in mind, and I hope you'll find it interesting. Please give constructive criticism if you'd like. I usually do basic writing, then go back an add in more details when I go back over it in order to paint a more in depth view. I was also toying around with the idea of coloring each person's actual dialog with colors to represent them to make it a bit easier to follow and pick out when they're actually speaking, so I'd love some input there, like if you think it would make reading it an easier experience. As you can see, I've put a lot of thought into this XD With that said, here is the intro... =-

" ... are you, Slade? I know you're out there."

Robin sat at a desk in his dimly lit room, meticulously pouring over the details of Slade's crimes. He had been at it for hours as he did every day, but as time marched on his obsession grew worse. Slade hadn't shown up for a full year. "There has got to be a pattern... something that I've missed... He's planning something..." He mutters to himself as the flips open another folder filled with pictures and news clippings. The Boy Wonder let out a groan of frustration as he opened his desk, looking at the mask he had taken from Slade. He let out an almost animal-like growl as he tossed the mask to the floor in disgust. Robin pounded his fist on the table, in a vain attempt to get out his ever growing frustrations. The single light on his desk shone weakly on the stacks of information that cluttered his desk; It was the constant reminder of all the things that his arch-enemy had done and what The Boy Wonder was convinced was going to be done again. "You're not going to trick me again Slade..." His mind was torn. He knew that Slade was trying to get him weak, and by doing nothing but study the past, Robin was doing exactly what the Evil One wanted, but Robin wasn't going to let Slade get the jump on him...

"I'll catch you, One of these...."

"... just have to adjust the bolt here... DONE!"

Cyborg slid his way out from under the T-Car after finishing his newest improvements. He stood up in front of the vehicle and exclaimed "Hah! Now the T-Car is better than ever! BOOYAH!" He smiled to himself in satisfaction, but the happiness slowly faded from his face. The Cybernetic Titan had grown weary of the lack of action in his life since crime seemed to have stopped in Jump City. The soft light coming from the computer screens that dot the walls bathed the room in a pale blue glow. His feet loudly clanged against the metal floors as he walked slowly across the room, taking a seat at his desk. His metallic hand caressing the wrinkled leather of the lone book that topped the desk, Cyborg flipped through the pages until he stopped. A single tear rolled from his still flesh and blood eye as he muttered...

"I'll never forget you, Sarasim... "

"... metrion... zinthos... Aza--"

Raven muttered as she hovered a few meters over Titan's Tower, a black cloud of flames shielding her from the cold and snow that was whipping through Jump City. The top of the tower was completely desolate save for the Dark Titan. Her mind strained in order to keep focus, in order to keep her shield against the bitter cold up. The loud CRACK of the door flying open caused her shield to faltered for a moment, allowing her to get hit in the face with a rather large clump of snowflakes. She crashed to the ground as Starfire slowly walked out from the stairway on top of the roof then softly said, "Raven... are you ready to come in? I was beginning to worry." The Dark one grumbled out, "I told you not to bother me while I was meditating..." "Oh... You have my apologizes, then..." The Alien whispered as she walked back into the stairwell of Titan Tower, slowly making her way back down to her room. Her slender frame slumped over, obviously upset over something.

"I wish that someone would under..."

"... on! That was totally cheap!"

Beast Boy yelped as he tossed his controller to the ground, as the familiar voice said "Today's Winner is: MARIO!!" He let out a hefty sigh as he slumped back down to the couch, letting his head slump to the side. No matter what he did, his mind wouldn't switch from what it had been obsessed with for years now. The object of his desire, The Dark Titan, Raven. Beast Boy placed his hands behind his head slowly, stretching his lanky body out after his extended session of playing his video games. The room around him was completely still, not a sound could be heard from any section of the Tower.

"Wonder where everyone..."

END of INTRO

-= Not too long yet, but I got very distracted from it a while ago and hadn't had the time or inspiration to continue it until recently. I used the size parts in order to make it feel like you were zipping around the Tower, and were actually there; coming up on one of the Titans while they were talking. Not sure if I pulled it off too well, but it was a try! I've got the main parts of the story in my head, it's just putting it down and being descriptive enough to pull it off. Please help out with anything that looks a bit wrong, or if I screwed up any grammar/englishy stuffs. HOPE YOU ENJOYED! blaugh =-

Thank you very much! Do you think it would help to color the text when they speak? Green for Beastboy, Red for Robin, ect. I don't want it to be too flashy, but If I end up taking the story where I want to, there might be a few shouting matches and that might make things easier to follow. ^_^

Oh, that's just the introduction to the story. I just wanted to see if people liked my style of writing before I kept going with it. I was just really worried that it might not have been descriptive enough. When I write I like people to be able to visualize what's happening in their head. Most of the stories I've wrote I knew that people wouldn't have known what I was writing about, but I'm sure you all have a keen knowledge of the Teen Titans. My goal is for you all to be able to "see" my story as an episode in your head. I've only got a few DVD's of the TT episodes, so I'm trying to work the descriptions of the rooms of of those.

Thank you for saying that it was good smile I really appreciate it. I'll be posting more of the story as I get it done. It's just that this is a busy time of the year for me in my job, so free time is a little sparse. I'm going to work really hard on getting more out soon!

Thats a good idea. But to insure it's not to flashy don't bold it if you hilight their speech.

The morning light shone brightly upon Titans Tower, the storm that battered the city the day before had subsided over the night. Soft murmerings of the morning commute were starting to eminate from the Jump City citizens . A soft blanket of fresh snow coated the nearly crime-free city thanks to the Teen Titans... but it has now left them with very little activity. They have all fallen into everyday routines which are only interrupted by petty crimes that only takes a single team member to deal with.

Raven began to rustle from her sleep, stretching herself out as a she let out a hearty yawn. She quickly dawned her outfit and cape, rushing herself out of her room and up the stairs of Titans Tower. Her soft foot steps echoed throughout the stairwell as she climb, as her morning meditation session seemed to call out to her. The Dark One had found that if she meditated with a significant distraction, be it the blistering cold of Jump City during the winter months or the endless screaming of Beast Boy and Cyborg playing their games, her meditation was improved if she could block it out. Since listening to those two wasn't at the top of her 'To Do' list, she had made a habit of meditating on the roof of the Tower. The months of this had built up her powers significantly, and even allowed her to learn a few more. Little did the Dark One know that there was another Titan who was trying to learn new things...

*SHOONK* The door slammed to Raven's room. All seemed still, save for a single green fly. Beast Boy's form morphed back to normal, landing on the ground with a thud as he heaved a sigh of relief, as he knew that Raven would have his head if she caught him in her room again. He had been doing this little stunt for a some time now, attempting to learn what he could in order to try and win Raven's heart. He breathed deep, letting the scent of his loved one overcome him before he began to sort through the mountain of books that the Dark Titan had amassed over the years. He walked over to the bookshelf that spanned across the walls of her room, picking out a book he'd been interested in. He had convinced himself that the sole reason that Raven would not show him the affection that he yearned for was because her powers were activated by her emotions, which is what would make her hesitant to reveal her true feelings for him. While sneaking into Rae's room wasn't too uncommon for the Green one, studying her books was most uncharacteristic. Over the past few days, he had thought he hit paydirt with a book titled <> which details the types of magic and powers that Raven posesses. He scanned the book quickly, even though he knew that The Dark One's meditation usually lasted hours. "This one has to have something... I know it" Beast Boy thought to himself as he carefully turned each page. His eyes lit up with excitement as a passage, a certain spell, caught his attention. "Finally..." He said, running his hand down the page of the book. Suddenly, the echoes of footsteps began to sound in the hallway. The Changeling quickly slid the book gracefully back into it's position on the shelf, while not a moment later shifting his body into that of a Hummingbird. His wings flapped violently against the air as the familiar *SHOONK* of the door opens and closed behind him. Beast Boy's wings quickly flitted himself down the hallway, his body contorting back into his normal form as he landed with a thud onto his feet. The Changeling quickly leaned up against the wall as Starfire walked around the corner.

( I know it has been years, but this is what I wrote quite some time ago. I'm not totally happy with it, but I have a clear goal that I'm working towards and I think I will be able to polish this story until it shines. Any feedback will be very greatly appreciated!!!)
