A world torn by two.

In this world of Gods and half breeds, the world is torn into two. One side is the empire ruled by an Emperor who seeks to control the world with any means necessary, he uses knights spread across the world doing his bidding. The knights are half breeds corrupted by the Emperor to to fight for his cause and because the Emperor is a God his power goes unchecked and unchallenged because he is the thunder God Raiju. The Emperor has just raised taxes all over his land and many cannot afford to continue under these conditions, many have gone to jail and many have suffered the loss of they're loved ones to just to pay off they're taxes. The Emperor is married to a woman who is just as cold if not colder then her husband, her scorn has killed many women. The Emperor has a son who is the leader of the of the Emperor's main army, he is even stronger then his father and is waiting patiently for the right time to over throw his father. But until then he does all the dirty work for his father (killing off Gods who he suspects might be stronger then him).

The other side is the half breeds who don't agree with Emperor, so far half breeds haven't come across a God who is willing to oppose the Emperor. The half breeds who don't like the Emperor are followers of the Neko, the Neko being the half breed who is able to lure people to being her slaves. The Neko hates the Emperor and does all that she can to make him angry while remain unseen.

To this day it remains calm in all the towns, the knights continue to patrol all of the towns people and the towns people continue to accept they're fate. Knights are roaming everywhere observing the villagers, arresting them as soon as they make a mistake. There are small houses placed near each other, the poor have smaller houses while the rich have bigger houses but all the houses are made the same, they have roofs of shingles and are painted in earthly tones. The houses themselves are made of wood, and some have flowers around them or bushes/ trees, the village is very green have lots of trees and taking pride in they're beautiful flowers. They have a flower festival coming soon. The crops have just flourished in growth and the villagers are harvesting the food to help pay taxes they owe to the Emperor. Downtown of the village is flooded with knights who take and never pay for they're beer or food, everyone is silent, even the children who should be running and playing are hiding near they're parents for fear of the knights.

Our scene starts on a sunny day with blue skies, in the market place the knights are accusing a innocent farmer of not having a vendors license to sell his crops. Everyone watching in fear of what the knights will do to this poor man. Where are the hero's in this sad town?

-Shuu-chan notices through the window of the restaurant she works at that theres a crowd growing in the market place. She sees the knights arresting a old man, his daughter sobbing while everyone in the market place witnessing the event curse the knights silently.-

"Damn Knights" -She cursed silently because she didn't want the knights in the restaurant hear her. A voice is yelled across the room.-
"Hey babe I ain't getting any younger so where is my beer?" -Says a knight-
"I'm coming!" -Shuu yells back. After dropping off the beers to the knights she goes back to the counter to her boss-
"What's this world coming to?" -Says Shuu's boss-
"...I don't know." -Says Shuu looking out the window hopelessly-  

[Morphine Vacation]

*Ranft was sitting in a corner of the bar watching the farmer on the street getting arrested. She thought that she saw one of the waitress's look angry when she was serving some beverages to the knights that were being loud and obnoxious as always. Ranft sighed. The knights were out of control. They acted like they owned everything and killed anyone that got in there way. Ranft shook her head slightly and looked down at the table. There was a small raincloud carved into it. She peered at this strange carving and touched it gently. It made her think about holiday's when her mother made her specialty rainbow cakes. Everyone knows rainbows come after rain... As she was thinking about the rainbowy treat, her hair slowly began changing from it's standard black with pink bangs to an array of colors. If her hood was down everyone would be able to see her rainbow hair. Ranft smiled. She thought about hitting on the anti-knight Tengu Waitress. Ranft was slightly surprised the knights weren't harassing the waitress for being a Half-breed. They weren't taken to very kindly this close to the kingdom. Ranft lifted her hand and signaled that she wanted the waitress's attention.*

"Get back to work" Shuu's boss says as he points to Ranft.
Shuu sighs as she carries a tray to Ranft with water on it as she skillfully walks over to Ranft. Once she gets to her table she puts down the glass of water and gets out her tablet of paper and a pen. "How may I help you Miss?" As she gets ready to write.

*Ranft glances up to look at the cute waitress, trying to startle her by having one bright green eye and one piercing blue eye, Ranft begins in a dark-esk voice*
'Waitstaff, Would you kindly bring me some beverage that would quench my thirst?'
*Ranft flicked her eyes at the knights still talking and drinking loudly.*
'And something slight for a meal? I don't feel like eating too much. Thank you.'

Shuu stares at Ranft and notices her eyes, but doesn't say anything because she doesn't want to be rude.
"Um, yes, right away, I'll get you a sandwich and Ale. Is that okay with you?"
Shuu takes a quick glance at the knights who just so happened to silence up and were staring at Ranft threateningly. Shuu suddenly feels like the middle-man in a staring contest. sweatdrop

*Ranft smiles slightly at the reaction of the waitress and giggles to herself.*
'That will be fine thank you.'
*Ranft notices the attention of the waitress has shifted to the knights that had gone suddenly much more silent. They all seemed to be staring at Ranft*
'Great.'
*Ranft muttered under her breath*
Knight 1: Hey, That girl looks suspicious...Wasn't there someone we are supposed to be looking for or something?'
*He turned to the other knights and they nodded. Ranft rolled her eyes*
'Here we go again.'

"Your welcome." sweatdrop Says Shuu as she walks away to her boss putting up the ticket of Ranft's food to the cooks in the back.
Shuu stares at her boss concernedly and asks "What do we do?" knowing that a fight is going to be inevitable. Her boss looks over at her and whispers "get your Zanbatou ready, just in case".
"Are you nuts!!??!?! I can't attack the Knights!" Says Shuu.
"You might have to, I can't have the Knights messing up my restaurant" Shuu's boss begs. "You work for the Neko you can get away with it."
Shuu stares at her boss angrily "I better get a raise!" >.>
Shuu then disappears up stars for a moment and discreetly brings down her Zanbatou wrapped up in a towel. The Knights were too focused on Ranft to notice her.

Adelaide strolled into the resturaunt inconspicuously, hoping to go unnoticed by the knights and the farmer, but only seeing more inside. She sat down anyway, watching one of the waitresses pull down an especially large sword wrapped in cloth. "What could she possibly be thinking doing with that?" she thought to herself.
