Breath of Air

[Amath Mortum]

Walking slowly along the dirt road, Amath soaked in the silence and serenity of the dark and cloudy sky. His thoughts, centered deep inside of him, retraced the events of his battle with Shemgar down to every last movement of muscle. So long and not one victory yet over his 'brother'. Arriving at the crossroads, he came to a halt, his shiny red eyes covering the vast distance around him.  

[First Lady Jocelyn]

Quietly sauntering out of the bar resuming her wolf-form she looked up at the outsider questioningly. He and Wolfe did not seem to get along yet this new vamipre had sparked something in her that had nearly died the last time hr maker had left.

Amath simply remained motionless as he stood outside, his arms crossed across his chest as he looked up with his burning red eyes to the moon. Such a rudimentary creation always seemed to amaze him; how the light shown ever so brightly against the black of space; how the stars merely accented it's glow. Such young things were always a pleasure to dwell on, and even better to remove his mind when stuck on less pleasant emotions.  

[First Lady Jocelyn]

"How long will you stay, if you do?" she projected to him before beginning the change back to human. The only flaw being that if she did she would do so without clothes, not a pleasing thought but one that she did not mind since she had for so many years now that her nudity in public no longer phased her.  

[Amath Mortum]

Amath wouldn't even move as the female spoke behind him, rather, keeping his vision to the moon. "I don't know," Amath replied honestly as he finally turned around, his blind but blood red eyes falling on her form. He knew everything about her form, but none of it bothered him at all.  

[First Lady Jocelyn]

"How can you not know, after all you are here." she said as she shifted into her human form only pulling the shadows as she did out of modesty in front of the ancient vampire. Cloaked in shadows she awaited a reply from him.  

[Amath Mortum]

"Being here and having an answer for as to how I plan on staying," Amath began slowly as he took a step to the infinitely young female before stopping, "are two different and difficult things. I am merely deciding if this place falls within my standards of acceptance, with another ancient and all."  

[First Lady Jocelyn]

Bringing her shadows to cover her more closely she did not back off as he approached and listened as he spoke.

"Are you offended by another ancient with as much power as you in the area?" she asked lightly bordering playfully bating him to open up some.  

[Amath Mortum]

Amath would overlook the subtleties of the question as he turned slightly to his right. He would smirk lightly as he thought of just how childish elders could be, sometimes even surpassing young-lings. "I do not doubt that he is powerful," Amath would begin as he readjusted his coat, just before a breeze would pass through the area and mess his hair, "It's just typical that elders have...disagreements about things."  

[First Lady Jocelyn]

"I do not doubt that you would have your spats," she said as she began to size up the ancient and compare him to her master, Wolfe. She was not newly turned yet in the presence of two ancients she would keep a closer link to her wolven side just in case.  

[Amath Mortum]

As the young female would speak, Amath would flip his fingers through the air, thin black trail of smoke pillowing up into the air before disappearing. Sighing, Amath would slide his hands into his pockets before turning his head towards her as the breeze picked up once again, pulling his messy black hair towards his face, forming an almost ominous shadow effect.

"Please don't tell me your going to be all smoke and mirrors..." she mused as her ear twitched listening to the far off sounds of the night.
