- Who?
The Super contest is for YOU! To enter, you just need a pokemon, preferabally
something with decent Contest stats.
- What?
The Super Contest consists of 3 parts, Visual, Dance, and Presentation. Points
from each build up to make the final decision.
- When?
Any Time, after you reach Yosuga City, the seventh place you get to, but is
the 5th gym.
- Where?
The Super contest takes place in a contest hall. This is located in between the
entrances to the Pal walk place in Yosuga City, the fifth gym location. Also,
this city has the Poffin case, Poffin bakery, and Pokemon Chapel, amongst other
things. Mizuki, the person that developed the Pokemon box, lives here. If you
somehow manage to miss the contest hall, Slap yourself. and again.
NOTE: If you have ALL the ribbons, You can enter and participate in the "God"
level contests at the Resort Area. Dont ask me about where what is in there.
The Highest level Contests are HARD.
- Why?
When you get bored of endlessly forcing innocent little animals to battle one
another and grinding levels, wearing them out and destroying their futures, you
can start doing pokemon contests, another form of fun, utilising your skills of
fashion sense, timing, and raw power. Contests are fun, as are making poffins,
which you have to have to actually stand up against your opponents. Also, multi
player Super Contest give you an edge, even if you DONT have those perfect EV
trained complete ultimate demonic destructive godly invincible danceing shiny
level 100 OmegaGigaUltimus's. Think about that. Even a Loser like YOU can be a
WINNER!

II. The contest Hall, Various parts.

- Multiplayer Clerk
This person/transdimentional emanation is standing by the top right corner, with
whom talking to you can set up a multiplayer Super Contest. This is where the
Losers will shine. Talking will make you save, and when everyones signed up, you
can start your contest. Next to her is a screen with your contest history. to
the right is your handy dandy all purpose computer.
- Contest Clerk.
This is the real deal. A full single player contest. you place your pokemon up
for contest. When you enter the contest hall to do your dressup-> Dance->
Presentation deal, this clerk changes you into a Tuxedo/Dress. This supposedly
makes you more "proper" even though your competitors are sometimes in like...
bughunting gear. you may even face the 5th Gym leader in Super Contests.
Sometimes your MOM appears in the higher ranks...Do not think about winning if
you do. You should be happy if you turn up second or something.
Note: Winning Contests give you more accessories for your Visual.
- The Practice Clerk
Practice makes perfect. after the Door to the hall, theres a clerk that takes
you to practice. The First menu is Practice, Instructions, and cancel. In this
Guide, Ill give a better instruction. Screw the 2nd option. the first is what
your there for. The next menu shows Visual Practice, dance Practice, and
Presentation Practice. The only one that will not allow you to pick what type
of Contest practice is the Dance. The others will lead to a menu showing the 5
types of contests. You just do the thing, and you can kinda see your results
if you know what your doing. after the practice, she asks if you want to try
again.
- The Display Corner
This is where the display is. your Pokemon+Accessories in a Photo of your wins.
thats all. Recording with your group will allow you to see them also.
- The Lounge.
You talk to people... and listen to the crap that they have to say. Basically
useless. you cant even sit down. O.o

- What?
Poffins are the equivalent of R/S/E Berry Blender Blocks. Poffin baking is much
more fun, but same concepts apply. Do it wrong, level decreaces. type chosen
by the type of berry. They now are kept in this Poffin case, and actually look
edible.
- Berries
To determine what kind of stats the poffin will increase, look at the berries
tag, the first option when sorting them in your bag. There have a Little graph
and a bit of bio on them tags. This will help determine the type of poffin.
The more of the certain type, the higher possioble level of poffin.
- The Poffin Case
The poffin case looks like a drawer, in the key items. They can hold up to a
hundred, yep, a HUNDRED Poffin. where do you get such an Item that seems to be
blessed with the power to cancel out the laws of space-time established by
Diaruga and Parukia themselves? Well, this guy in a red cap is standing outside
a building in the same town. Enter the building, and talk to the freak. HORRAY
You now have a poffin BOX! It defies the Laws of Space-time. Use your
imagination
- Poffin Cookery.
Left of the Friendly Shoppe. theres this Little house with a sign. Welcome to
the poffin Bakery. In here, there are some people lounging, talk to them, and
you might get the most amazingly powerful poffin ever made, approximately 45
minuites of Intensive poffin-ing and some good berries, luck, and you might be
able to re-create this. Sometimes, theres a reporter looking for interveiws.
Just answer randomly. you will eventually get rewarded MAJORLY. The woman by
the little device that looks like its meant to grind up a Yonoirs brains is
the person you talk ot to make poffins
- How To Poffin
Step 1: Get a berry you intend to use
Step 2: Chose it when you are told to by the instructor.
Step 3: Spin in the direction you are told to. HOWEVER, DO NOT SPIN TOO FAST.
A General rule is that it should stay more than 3 millimeters away fromt the
edge of the outer circle, but less than 8 Millimeters from the edge. This
allows for minimum spills, minimum burns, and minimum time. all of which lead
to a higher poffin level, thus equaling a higher stat raise, thus leading you
to be a WINNER! Burns occur when you spin too slow, and Spills when you spin
too fast. If you cannot hear the spill well, or the burn, slap yourself. NO
I dont care if you still are sore from slapping yourself for not finding the
contest hall, JUST DO IT. Spills are shown as material flying off the edge
burns are when little black spots start to rise... The drag increases when
the longer you cook your poffin, and so you need much more spin into spinning
it. Take that into concent. When your done, there are 2 buttons. Top is
CONTINUE, you need to put in a quarter(*LAUGHTER* OUT OF RESPECT) Or. Dont
continue, bringing you back to REALITY.
when the Poffin is in the last stage of cooking, you cannot spill.
The more you spin, the faster the poffin cooks, and more points
Step 4: Go to the poffin case, select the poffin, and then select the pokemon
If you can read japanese OR can match up symbols, the second menu under status
shows their favorite type of poffin in red. near the bottom. If there is a
black sentance, then it eats anything. Feeding them their favorite type of
poffin will increase happiness. Some Evolutions require happiness
EG. Rioru->Rukario
Step 5: ???????????????????????????????????????
Step 6: Profit!
- Why you poffin
You poffin for Contest stats, so you can actually stand up to those amazingly
cool/brave/cute/whatever pokemon the computers have. Its not a necessity. Its
a recommendation.
- Multiplayer Poffin
In Multiplayer Poffining, there are a few more rules. Although the drag goes up,
more people can support this. Try to communicate on what berries you are putting
in, as they determine the outcome of the poffin. for each more person, you get
the same amount of Poffins(EG. 3 players, Level XX Poffin X3) The othe players
stylus location is marked by a little dot. Red for player 1, Blue for 2, yellow
for 3, and Green for 4. If you crash into each other, they can make up for 1/2
of a mistake. EG. Crash 4 times, you negate 2 spills. Also, If any two of you
mix the same berry, the poffin will instantly be maxed at Level 2.(black poffin)

- What?
The Visual is the first step of the contest. You dress up your pokemon according
to the theme, given if you can speak japanese, and 60 seconds. the typical
amount of Accessories you can have at max is 5. The background can be changed
with the second button in the bottom. the Bottom left is for changing different
groups and the bottom right is END. Drag and drop, and PLEASE use good fashion
sense.
- Tips
USE YOUR FASHION SENSE. The objective is to make the pokemon look appealing, NOT
to make your friends gouge their eyes out.
Sparkling powders, confetti, and the sort of stuff are really appealing and dont
need much thought
Use the Flag. Its aquired at the end of cycling path. Its really useful.
As you increase in rank, the more accessories you can put on.
- Accessory Case
Of course, you cant get accessories without it, so lets go over it shall we?
the accessory case has the same properties of defying Space-time contortium.
It can hold an infinate number of accessories, and I think that your mom gives
it to you when you first enter the contest hall(e-mail me if wrong. PLEASE)

The Dance is the second part of the Super Contest. for most times, you start off
as 4th. The Accessories you have placed on your pokemon for Visual will
re-appear on the pokemon when its the Lead dancer, or the one up front. the
Touch screen becomes 4 buttons during the dance. each Pokemon gets 2 chances to
be the lead dancer, and each time they do 3 moves. Your mission is to repeat
the same moves with good timing. The Jigglypuff on the bottom of the top screen
shows where the beat is. timing is crucial if you want points. You only have
once chance, so dont blow it. The lead pokemons actions are color-coded, and
are the same as the buttons on the touch screen.
- Tips
The first beat of the 2nd measure(large bar) gives a double boost to points.
use it.
If you do a action off the lines, even if your the lead, you get less points
Practice makes perfect.
- Neat tricks to pull off on friends
Y=Yellow button, G=Green Button, B=Blue Button, and R=RED BUTTON OF DOOM!
Y makes your pokemon bump right
G Bumps the pokemon Down
B makes your pokemon hop left
and R bumps the pokemon up. NOTE: R can be used on Gamefaqs to bump up a topic
also!
Since the music goes at 5/4 time, in English: COMPLETELY SCREWED UP! and runs
for 4 measures, this trick guide will have 20 slots. and 17 of which will be
O's. This means DO NOTHING. Y means hit the yellow button, G means Green, blue
is Blue, and R means Red. THIS IS ONLY FOR WHEN YOU ARE LEAD DANCING! If you are
not, just follow the bottom of the top screen, there will be a little circle
with the moves your supposed to do.

- The rules of Presentation
These are the basic rules of the presentation, the last part of the super
contest
Though similar to the ones in R/S/E There are a few more rules.
1. Your moves give you a score
2. If your move is the type of the contest, the judge gets "Voltage"
3. If your move is the OPPOSITE Types(2 types), the judge loses Volatge
4. If the Voltage hits 5 for one judge, the Pokemon that made the Voltage Hit 5
gets 5 Points, in the form of hearts
5. A Red Heart Indicates 1 point, Pink indicates 2, and Dark Red Means 3. If
you get more than that(More than 15 points in ONE TURN) Then E-Mail me and let
me call you HAXXOR!
6. You present to one of 3 Judges.
7. If only 1 pokemon presents to a specific judge, then they get +3 at end of
turn, if 2 pokemon present to 1 judge, they both get +2. If 3 pokemon present
to one judge, they all get +1. If all 4 present to one judge, none get bonus
points.
8. If you cant read japanese, just practice to find out which moves are what

After the Presentation, there will be a little graph that shows you the results
The first batch is the amount of points from the Visual, next, the dance, and
finally, the Presentation. Now, the First place pokemon gets the spotlight.
Next, You appear with your Tux/Dress and are talked to if you got a ribbon.
If you get first of 2nd place, you can get a ribbon, which also acts as an
accessory! After exiting the hall, you go back to the
counter, where you recieve a PRIZE/Contallation, another accssory.
