A masquerade. Sounds simple enough. You put on a mask, pretend to be someone else for a night, perhaps share a kiss with a stranger, but then you wake up in the morning and return to your old life. But what if deception runs deeper than it appears? What if you can't go back?

Our story begins where everyone is getting ready for the ball. Girls are putting their beautiful ball gowns on, doing their makeup and hair, while boys are putting on their tuxes, looking as handsome as can be.

Rules:

1. Follow the Gaia T.O.S. No one wants to get into trouble.

2. Post at least four times a week. Don't die on me. Tell me if you won't be able to post due to complications.

3. Post at least 3 sentences. Not that hard right? I get writers block a lot, I understand. And don't write a novel either.

4. Don't make it so your character knows something that they didn't witness, or weren't told about. Just because you read it, doesn't make them know.

5. No power playing or God modding other people (i.e. I hugged her as she skipped towards me and she said "Hello" ) It's not your character, don't play them.

6. No Mary Sues, now children.

7. No anime pictures. Real people are a must.

8. Don’t be stupid and there won’t be more rules.

9. PM all profiles to me (Larcka) I will not accept a profile if it's not PMed to me. Do not start posting until I accept your profile please.

11. Title all PM’s Who was that masked stranger? and put an emo in your profile so I know you read the rules.

12. If you talk out of character please use (()) or {{}} or [[]].

13. Please don't get random in this RP. (random is fine but not out of the blue random like you all of a sudden you somehow acquired a million dollars).

14. No cybering either. You can say you 'settled down for a long winter's nap' , but don't decribe it to us. Just time skip.

15. Look for announcements this is to help everyone as the story goes on. So keep an eye out for it.

16. Violence and cursing is allowed. (don't go over board like every line though. the maximum is 5 per post. Dont abuse this rule.

17. Keep your ages with in the lower years, 18 or less unless you have a good reason for being older than that.

18. If I see anyone not following the rules I'll give you a PM warning. But if you do it more you will get a PM from me that you were kicked out of the rp, unless under certian circumstances

19. A little color in your post is okay, but don't blind me.

20. I know it's a lot of rules, but try to have fun.

21 You have to have a picture of yourself in your post. When your masked, have a picture of your masked self, and vice versa, so it changes.

Max has always been the way she is. A basic family enviroment. Except for the morphing into a wolf part, of course. Living by herself in he forest, she catches her own kills and teaches herself. Never being one to wear flower dresse, Max was at first scared when she saw that a masquerade was coming. Then she found that it might be good for her. She hadn't had alot of interaction, and it might be healthy for her. Plus, she wouldn't be caught dead wearing a dress, but we're wearing masks, right?
