You have the resources to heal.
You have permission to tell "the secrets."
You can break the silence and have a voice.
Your experiences of the past are valid.
You can change your relationship to your memory.
You can forgive yourself.
You can protect yourself and be strong.
Your body is your body.
You have a core of wisdom within.
Your emotions can assist you.
You can reject unhealthy relationships.
You are not to blame - others (grownups) are responsible for their behaviors.
You can experience intimacy and enjoy your sexuality.
You can respect yourself.
You can say "No."
You can honor the things you did to survive.
You can learn new ways of coping.
You can allow yourself to experience your feelings.
You can set your own pace to work on your issues.
You can be powerful and still have important needs (e.g. needs for affection, connection, & love)
You can learn to control the connection between abuse and your present behavior/relationship patterns.
Your abuser is responsible for the violations, not you.
You can make life-affirming choices.
Your present and future belong to you.
You can enhance your sense of belonging and community.
You can go beyond survival.
You have the freedom to chart your future.
You have a future.
You can respect your capacity to change and grow.

It's actually something I got from group last week ^^; I've been trying to share the stuff I get from there in here.

Not sure, but I think my therapist wrote it. She's pretty awesome. ^ -^

I've never been in any group therapy before...
But it sounds like something that would be greatly beneficial.
