The Park

[Lykaios of the Shadows]

Max's ears twitched as the familiar word came about again. "Hey, I'm not 'stupide' all right?" he sighed, chewing on the waffle cone after he had finished the ice cream.

Zoey grimaced again, "It means something completely different. But you are Stupide"

Max frowned and leaned forward, putting his hands on the ground and holding the remnants of the waffle cone in his mouth. "Am not!" he exclaimed, like a little kid.

 

[Coral Andrews]

Zoey sighed, "I better be on my way. I have chorus."  

[Lykaios of the Shadows]

Max paused. "Chorus, huh? They need a guitar player?" he asked, smiling a bit after he finished the cone. He was still hungry, so when he left the park he'd probably end up stealing some little kid's hotdog...

 

[Coral Andrews]

"Not sure. But its an open class, anyone can join."  

[Lykaios of the Shadows]

"Really?" Max asked, sighing. "Sounds somewhat interesting. What's the teacher like?" he queried, laying down on his back in the grass.

Zoey layed down on the grass, "Shes nice, all together okay."  

[Lykaios of the Shadows]

"Hm. I see..." Max murmured, looking up at the sky. He sighed loudly, shooing a butterfly away from his nose and batting at it. "Y'know, this may seem kind of deep, but sometimes I wish I was...normal..." he said, twitching his ears to make a point. "What do you think about that?"

 

[Coral Andrews]

"I... Think being normal is vastly overrated. Nobody who is normal wants to be. Its immortality, darlin'" Zoey said, sounding deep as well.

(XD that was riddled with quotes from a bunch of stuff that I cant even remember)  

[Lykaios of the Shadows]

Max grinned. "Heh. I guess you're right. It's funny, because what you said is true. Nobody who is normal wants to be. And yet everyone who isn't, wants to be normal. It's weird how things work, huh?" he asked, watching the butterfly circle around his head.

 

[Coral Andrews]

"Gotta love it." She said, making the butterfly turn to ice. "nothing is ever what it seems."  

[Lykaios of the Shadows]

"Yeah, I kno-ouch!" Max flinched as the frozen butterfly landed on his nose. He picked up the little ice cube and looked at the bug closely, examining it while rubbing his nose.

 

[Coral Andrews]

Zoey's eyes began glowing, a bright red, and the butterfly melted, not the ice, the butterfly itself. "Life is delicate. Learn to live wisely." She said quietly, then hopped up and ran away.

Max's eyes widened and he dropped the butterfly quickly, watching it melt. He didn't say anything for a while, and when Zoey left, he laid back down in the grass, staring up at the sky in awe. Then, he smiled.

"Hmph. An interesting girl. Wish I had gotten her name..."
