Disgaea 4!

It seems not much has happened in this Disgaea Guild since I last checked, but I think I'll provide information anyways! And all of this information is possible courtesy of Cyberdance

Also, here is the Disgaea 4 website itself.

As far as everyone knows so far, the main character is a vampire named Valbatoze (Still wondering on that) and is going up against his netherworld government. He has a loyal servant called Fenrich (Also wondering if that's the right way to say his name) who helps him throughout the game. Then there is Fuka, a human girl who thinks she is dreaming and the she is unstoppable in the netherworld.

Two other characters, Emizel and Volcano, are also important. Emizel is apparently the son of the netherworld president at the moment. Volcano is the angel that seems to be related to Vulcanus in some kind of way.

No info on the purple haired girl yet.

I heard the only reason disgaea 4 is coming out is because nippon and atless are doing badly so they are using this game to get back in the black

Nippon Ichi has never been a pillar of the game community nor has it made tons of money on any of its games, even if they are awesome. The company focus mainly on RPGs that still use sprite animations and they have heavy focus on story telling and voice acting. They are making a Disgaea 4 because the company still has ideas and enjoys making games - of course I am sure they hope to make money - but a company like Nippon Ichi doesn't just throw out a game because they know it will sell, they still have to work at it. There is no promise Disgaea 4 will have great sales.

My only problem with Nippon Ichi is that they are so focused on the Sony Playstation consoles. I would love to see them make some cross-platform games.

I'd have to say, this game is awesome. I love the characters, and the story line! <3 Especially Val and Fenrich. OTP for lief.
