Once upon a time, there was a ghost in my room.
He came one night during the witching hour, when three of my lady friends had stayed over. One was a witch, and the other two believed in the supernatural wholeheartedly.
That is an entirely different story, all that need be known is that the ghost was malevolent and hated the witch.
After that night, it seemed that the ghost was trapped in my room. Luckily, he could only do anything if there was no light in my room, and as I often read myself to sleep my reading lamp took care of that issue. However, should there be no light in my room, the ghost would sit on my chest and start to choke me. Simply waving my hands at him would generally make him leave me alone for the rest of the night, and that is what I did.
Recently, I had these three girls over again and more paranormal things happened, this time with the creature that resides in my basement. After the witching hour had safely passed, we all went to bed.
I didn't leave my light on that night, so of course the ghost tried to choke me. i swatted him away, thinking that would be it for the night.
I was wrong.
He kept sitting on my, choking me, sitting on my limbs trying to break them. I made the girls sleep in the guest room and left my light on, hoping he'd leave me alone.
He didn't.
For whatever reason, the light seemed to stop bothering him. He'd grab my arm and twist it uncomfortably or try to break my fingers. I turned off my reading light and turned on my ceiling light, hoping that would stop him.
Again, it did nothing.
I tried burning incense and making wards, but nothing worked. Finally, around 8 AM, I just burned my sage.
He's gone now, for good.
It's a shame, I kind of miss having a haunted room.
Anyway, what bothers me is how the ghost was suddenly able to harm me even with light when he previously could not.
I think it has to do something with the creature in my basement, but I don't know.
Thoughts?
