In the end, it all fades to blood.

☠☣☠☣☠☣☠☣☠☣☠☣☠☣☠☣☠☣☠☣☠☣

                                                Be we immortal or mortal....

                                                Human or monster....xxxxxxxx

Eventually, we are nothing but dust.

A smile, devious in nature, played across Kyiran's lips when he saw the female jump. He hadn't yet been able to see that she was, in fact, blind. Although, perhaps that made his feat that much more astonishing since she would have a better sense of smell and hearing than the average person. Kyrian did pride himself on his abilities. Then again, he prided himself on just about every aspect of his being. Really, the man could do with some humbling but none so far had been able to accomplish that task. The likelihood of someone ever doing so was practically non-existent though.

A frown spread across his features at the realization that the woman before him was blind. The last thing Kyrian wanted was some pet with disabilities. Before he could turn and walk away, the girl surprised him by naming his race. He had, of course, heard of those who could tell another's race by scent. Kyrian himself was among them, but that a little blind girl had been able to detect it so easily surprised him since there was no blood on his clothes nor a lingering smell from his last victim. There was only his scent which held the mix of vampire and shifter. Generally, he went by vampire since it was the most noticeable of the two races without a significant change in his appearance. Well, that and his first race was what he had been born as while the vempire is what he had been turned into. You wouldn't call a changed human a human, would you?

The male began to respond as he studied Ever more. "Really? I would think one wouldn't want to forget such a piece of information. As for the nightly breeze...I suppose it can. I much prefer the cloak of darkness which night provides though. Now, tell me about yourself. Starting with your name, of course." Kyrian commanded. It wasn't a request, but an order. He fully expected the girl to answer his questions with no additional prompting. He didn't bring up the question of how she had known his race just yet because, well, he didn't want to let on that he hadn't been caught off guard by her identification.

Ever raised one of her eye brows then slightly shook her head.
As demanding as ever I see. Just like the rest of them. She thought bitterly. Ever saw no harm though in telling the vampire her name. She stood up in front of the vampire and realized that her legs had fallen asleep. It was a mixed feeling of ticklish and painful and Ever did everything she could not to laugh or hit her legs to get the blood flowing through them again. It took a lot of effort, but she managed. Ever could tell that she was standing quite close to the vampire but she knew better than to show weakness in front of such creatures. They practically lived off of fear and the thrill of the hunt. It's a good thing that vampires used to frequent Shayde's shop for his potions and such. Otherwise, Ever would have never been able to steel herself in front of this vampire.

"You know, it's usually more appropriate to tell your name first but I suppose I could be the one to introduce myself before you. My name is Ever Marlow. I'm told that I look around twenty-one. As you can see, I'm just a blind woman who just so happens to be good as different scents. As for my species... I'm not sure. However, I know for a fact that I am not human." She hesitated at the last part but saw no harm in telling the truth. She gave an involuntary shiver and rubbed her hands on her arms. The breeze had gotten a little stronger and the different scents swirled around her along with her hair. She kind of wished that the door was closed now. She didn't smell any clouds which meant that the stars were out. She longed to see them but didn't dare move from her spot. Most of the vampires that she had met in the past also had quick tempers. She knew better than to do anything that would make her lose her head in front of Mr. Vampire. "Now I believe it is your turn for introductions. Or would you rather I call you Mr. Vampire all afternoon?" She asked with a slight smile.

                                                Be we immortal or mortal....

                                                Human or monster....xxxxxxxx

Eventually, we are nothing but dust.

The male's eyes narrowed when Ever shook her head, noting the movement of her eyebrow as well. Of course, he had no idea whether these actions were directed towards his comment or demand, but Kyrian never liked to be told he was wrong. Even when he was wrong, he was right. That was how the male's mind worked. He arched a brow as the girl rose to a standing position, pondering on what her course of action might be. Would she try to flee? Attack him? Or was she simply standing for the sake of standing? The last option seemed rather dull. In fact, he hoped that her reason would be one of the former just so that he would have something to do. Kyrian really wasn't the type for extended conversations with others. Could he carry on a conversation? Certainly. Did he want to? Hell no.

A small sigh parted his lips at her words. Of course she wanted to talk.... He frowned at her words, eyes returning to slits. Something about the way she spoke irritated him. 'Ever?' Such a strange name she possessed. It was an odd concept that one should forget so much about herself. What could have caused such a thing to occur? He smirked at her next words. No, there had to be more to her than that. He wouldn't accept such an answer, one way or another he would find out more about her. The vampire quirked a brow when the female mentioned not knowing her species. "You have never come across another like yourself?"

He noticed the female shiver, but the cold did not bother him as it did her. He was perfectly comfortable as he was. He smiled lightly, amusement dancing within his features at her comments. Yes, she had answered him and it was only fitting that he do the same. Beast that he might be, Kyrian still knew how to be a gentleman at times. "Kyrian. Master Kyrian." He assumed she would realize, but not everyone seemed to be able to realize such a thing despite the way he spoke and held himself. "I am twenty-five. You already know my species. I am also the ruler of my lands." The man folded his arms over his chest as he observed the girl. "What brings you here?"

Traveling was never something she enjoyed. Getting from point A to point B was unnecessarily long. It was boring and often so quiet that the whispers that flowed through her mind naturally would grow louder and be more apparent then they normally would be. You see the thing about traveling is that the death rate rises depending on how you travel. Whether it be in a car, a train, a ship, and lastly an airplane. So depending on which method of transportation she took, the more whispers she'd hear and the louder they were. They were especially loud if she was in an area where someone or most of the time groups of people died at once and their souls are lost. Oh how she hated passing over those areas.

But Vivian was here now and that's all that mattered. She didn't have to worry so much right now about passing by those areas or being terribly bored. From what she heard about this place, it should work as a perfect place for her to live. She didn't fit in well in the human cities anymore and it was hard to contain the whispers in the city since so many people were grouped together. But from what she had heard about this place it would be perfect for her. They'd understand and the whispers would be quiet unless someone passed away. It sounded almost too good so she would hold off on passing judgement.

She pulled the door open and stepped into the Foyer and looked around. She was wearing a simple white dress with her long white hair pulled back into a pony tail. Lastly she was wearing white heels on her feet. She was practically the definition of 'The White Lady'. But white was the only color she was comfortable in right now. Maybe one day she'll crack out of her comfort shell and try on different colors but she was nervous today. Starting new things, taking new paths in life was scary. So she wanted that small bit of comfort.

Vivian sighed softly and would move her bangs from her face as she would step in further. She scanned the area to see who was around and she noticed a few other people. She wasn't sure if she should walk up and just randomly say hello. She wasn't sure who were the big dogs and who were the small dogs, figuratively.

Ever was slightly taken aback.
Master Kyrian? Then, he must be... Slightly lost in her train of thought, she forced herself to wipe the surprise that was no doubt showing on her face and return to a neutral expression. No doubt he didn't miss the look on her face. Releasing a slightly nervous chuckle she had to fight the urge to flee and return to the safety of her room. If it were any other place, she would never have allowed herself to be so timid in front of a vampire but Ever was still uncomfortable with the idea of being a 'Pet.' She couldn't quite wrap her fingers around it. And if this vampire was a 'Master'... Well, let's just say she wanted nothing to do with the creature.

Hoping he couldn't sense her discomfort, she returned to the conversation, already planning her escape.
"Master Kyrian?" She asked with just the right degree of mocking but not enough to actually insult or sound completely rude. "That's quite a title. You are also the ruler of your lands? Impressive. You are, unfortunately, not the only vampire I have heard of to own lands." She took a small step back, heading towards the exit that would lead to her room but continued the conversation. Hoping that he wouldn't notice the small retreat. "It is as you say. I have never met another creature who is like me. I thought I did once but the scent was somehow... wrong. It didn't quite fit." Ever was telling the truth. Once a man came into Shayde's shop asking for a specific type of potion that would heal his dying sister. Shayde was no miracle worker but he did his best. Ever could have SWORN his scent smelled a lot like hers but... different. Not quite right. She doubted it was because he was male but still, it hurt. So close, yet so far. She often wondered if she was the last of her species. Whatever it was.

"My reasons for being here, are my own." She said a little defensively while taking another tiny step back.

Seong walked through the entrance doors to the lounge below, leather boots making their way across the empty floor. It seemed as though this placed had recently undergone some changes. More then likely those that once had lived in this mighty abode were either gone or vacant, leaving Seong with a rather empty atmosphere to enter into. It was no matter however. He had been promised his choice of slaves or pets and if he was the first to arrive that also meant he would be the first to choose.

His hand came up and gently tucked a loose strand of green hair behind his ear, which made sure that his red eye was concealed. For what he wore he had kept it to his usual regal attire, a stiff leather jacket with gold panels on the shoulders, dress pants, leather shoes, a hand bag, and his katana kept to the side. Now that his looks were in order Seong took a seat in one of the white chairs below the stair way close to a table and pulled out a book from his bag.

Hopefully he'd be hearing the sound of voices soon, being dreadfully bored was a feeling he actively avoided.

OOC : Anyone can come join me if they'd like, just getting things rolling.
