The Iris Academy is a private boarding school available to any family from the age of 11 to 18. This school has a good reputation to teach delinquents manners and at the same time help other students to earn good grades. Parents tend to pick this school for their children because all graduates of this school happened to get straight A's in the matter of few months. The Iris Academy is the most top rated school in the whole world, that is the reason parents choose to send their children to this school. This school only has one way in and one way out. New students are expected to wait at the west port at 5am, sharp. Parents may accompany them, but once the large blue ship arrives, only the students are allowed to board. From then on, they are taken care of by the schools guardians. Children from all around the world attend this school and they are accepted and welcomed.

But there is a secret within the island that no outsider knows, but what is it?

This Iris Academy is build 500 years ago by Mistress Phillida. It is told that this school is built near a magic oak tree. The mystery of this school is the oak tree, legends say that this oak tree contains the soul of a Goddess that died right at the very spot the oak tree is located. How is the oak tree mysterious? Well, every student that attends this school enters the gates of The Iris Academy is normal but, each student that enters, leaves with one unique ability. An ability that was given from the Goddess herself, so the book of legends say. That is the secret, every student in this school has one unique ability. When a new student enters and passes the school gates, their ability will be released after a day, and within that day, the student will experience strange activities relating around their new ability. Once they gain their power, they are now a true member of The Iris Academy...

xxxxxxxxxxxMy past goes back 490 years ago. I found myself in the middle of this island. I don't remember how, or when I got here, I just woke up here. And then I had a sudden vision of this school. It came to me so fast, that I had no idea what it was so I ignored it. I wandered around the island, looking for someone to help me, but instead I found an oak tree. I rested there for a night then I had a dream. A sweet, gentle voice appeared in my dream with a vision of the school. This time the vision lasted way longer. The voice told me to build a school here and the voice said she will help me build it. Soon, I decided to go with my dream. I built the school exactly like my dream. Then, I didn't know what to do. Then the same voice came to me. It said in a weeks time, students will begin attending along with teachers. She said I had to take care of them and teach them her ways. And so, I waited a week, cleaning, polishing and even organizing papers I never knew I had. Then, the voice was right, the students came along with teachers. Background:
xxxxxxxxxxxWhen I was younger, I was often beaten by my father who seemed to enjoy it. He only did it when my mother was away from a business trip. My mother was manager of a very popular trade market and she earned three times the amount of any average family earned. Yes, we were rich but my father still loved to abuse me. He would kick, punch and even cut me I never told my mom because he would probably end up killing me. But one day, when I was 10, I was badly abused that I had to be rushed to hospital and my mom had to be phoned saying my injuries were fatal. I was her 'baby' so she canceled all plans and immediately came home where she began to know the truth. After a year or two, they were divorced and my father was send to jail. My mom felt bad for me and she wanted me to move schools so that my friends don't make fun of me and my scars. So she found the best school there is and sent me there. I didn't regret it, I always thought my mother made good decisions. She was able to work without disturbance too so it was a win win! When I first entered the school, my body had goose-bumps. The throughout that day, I kept giving people electric shocks, then something real weird happened. I lost control of my mind and body and sparks began to exit my body. MY BODY! Then the lights went out, and then blank. I fainted at that time. When I woke up the principle was there with all her blue clothes and wierd make-up. She explained everything about my powers and after a year or two, I mastered my powers. Now I'm in charge of newbees because all other students have difficulties with their powers.xxxxxxxxxxx

Background:
xxxxxxxxxxx I was sent to this school because of my history with not even bothering to go to class. I am outspoken and it got me into a lot of fights at previous schools.. I come from a well to do family, my father a very successful businessman. My mother so into herself she didn't even notice she had a daughter much less a trouble maker. So like all ignored children I started skipping school and seeking more adventurous things to do. Which got me sent to this school... one day on my way to class in protest. I found the fire escape climbing up to the roof to walk along the edge, I was almost to the top, losing my grip on the ladder i slipped and fell about 2 stories. Crying out, then darkness. I awoke to my bones setting themselves back into place, my cuts and bruises healed the only evidence of any damage at all was my blood soaked uniform top.... xxxxxxxxxxx

Ayla looked around, she was on the roof again, enjoying the summer like weather and the wind blowing through her blonde hair. She loved being up so high, She could see all her classmates running to classes,meeting up with friends. She missed friends. She hadn't had any since she moved here. Her mother's voice echoing in her mind 'Give it time Ayla, you will find some. You are bright and happy...' Ayla shook her head and the memory. Her mother only cared for Ayla to have friends so it didn't look bad to her country club friends.

Ayla stood on the ledge looking around,contemplating on whether she should jump and see if her new trick works at even higher..for the first time in her life she thought of death, not in a suicidal way but more of a wonder if she could even die now... Her mind raced. She decided to get off the ledge the normal slower way. Climbing down the fire escape, the alarm broken along time ago. She reached the bottom and walked to the closest hallway, Her backpack bounced with her full of science and health books. She was trying to figure out her new found power. She mostly just seen topics about certain reptiles being able to reproduce there limbs. Nothing about whole body regeneration even in the animal world.

Ayla had to hurry to her next class. that's all she needed was to be late for her Art class.She hustled through the halls. Luckily she was quick on her feet and made it just in time for role call. She sighed as the only seat available was the one right in front of her teachers desk.'Fabulous' she thought,Sarcasm thick even in her mind.

Snow happily looked out the window. She was located at the left-hand corner of the room where the window was within arms reach. Snow never usually payed attention in Art class, that is why she loved it so much. She was very talented at her age and the teacher never assists her with any drawing unless Snow asks for help herself. She began to twirl her long, white hair with her finger as she had her head rested on her knuckles. She watched the students outside who were doing Physical Education. Of course, most students there had the power related to energy or strength. But unfortunately for Snow, she had already mastered her powers at a young age so there was nothing new about her power. She knew her limits and strengths. Snow snapped out of day dreaming as she recognized the teacher writing something on the black board. "Draw a man-made object or draw a natural object" Snow repeated to herself. For a week, the class had been practicing how to draw varies of objects but Snow was a very quick learner. She sighed knowing it would be simple. She yawned and gave a long, relaxing stretched before she placed pencil to paper.

"Now Snow, do you know what Abstract is?" the teacher questioned Snow after asking another girl up the front seat whom remained unknown to Snow. Snow was still scratching her pencil on the page, shading in the pencil case that was opened in front of her. "Abstract? That's an artistic affect on a drawing or painting..." she said quietly, focusing on her drawing. "Yes, indeed." the teacher phrased her. "Now what I want you to do is create an abstract drawing of a manmade or natural object. You can get started on that." she finished. "Oh and if you need any material, don't be afraid to ask you classmates or go down to the storeroom" she added, returning to her table as she sat on her chair. And within a second, everyone was up and moving about. That was one thing about the teacher, she didn't care what you were doing as long as you are doing what she had asked you to do. Whispers and mutters were heard throughout the classroom. Snow didn't bother to move, she didn't car about these other students. In fact, she blocked them out...

↘↘ ☆ Ayla sighed but she started to draw.. She wasn't exactly sure what she was drawing.. but her charcoal traced lines on the paper,her eraser helping her shade the drawing. Her Teacher walking around eying everyone's work. Ayla looked around the class it was full of students. Her eyes focused on a girl whitish hair... Ayla stared.. swearing she's seen this girl somewhere before but she couldn't place it..

All of a sudden, Snow felt a pair of eyes on her. It gave her the urge to look. And when she did look, her eyes met a glare from a student at the top of the classroom. Snow's piercing purple eyes never reacted when she spotted the girl looking at her. All Snow did was stare back. What does she want? Why is she looking at me? Who is she? Snow thought showing no emotion in her face but a blank one. Snow was still looking at the girl. She was still as a tree in a summer's day. The only thing that moved was strands or her hair that was forced to move by the wind that flew through the open window.

Trying to decide if she should walk over or not. But She wasn't exactly sure if this girl would even acknowledge her or not. She weighed it. And stood up... thinking of something to say.. Something about this girl scared her and intrigued her in an odd way. She was curious and you know what they say curiosity killed the cat... And Ayla was a cat that bounced back.

Snow's face did not betray her, she kept her distracting purple eyes glued to the girl who began to walk her way. Her expression did not change, her pale-cream face stayed the same. The only question that popped into Snow's clear mind was What is she curious about?. Snow knew she was curious, as if she was bursting with questions. How? Well it was written all over the stranger's face. By the way her face re-acted, by the way her body moved; Snow knew she wanted something but what? That got Snow curious also but her emotion did not change. Maybe she wants to borrow a pencil? Snow thought to herself. Nah, that's definitely not the answer she answered herself. If she needed a pencil, she could have asked the other students... she backed her thought up. Then what? What does this girl want? she asked once again. As the stranger got closer to her, Snow still hovered her eyes on her. Snow made no movement, she just sat there doing nothing...as usual...
