Kikyo, Kagome, and Inuyasha

I just finished watching the series, and I've always wondered if Inuyasha would have chosen Kikyo instead of Kagome if she hadn't died. .__.
I don't even know which one he would've chosen. But say, if it had come down between the two, and he was confronted by the both of them, directly asked who he would pick, who do you think he would choose? o:

I truly believe that InuYasha had gotten over Kikyo enough that he would have let her go completely and stayed with Kagome IF Kagome did indeed come back to the feudal era like she did. The thing is, if Kikyo had lived, Kagome might not return to the feudal era, taking the whole question out of the equation.

I think if Kikyo was STILL around Kagome would of remained in darkness and wished on the Shikon jewel and her and Inuyasha would of never been together...

I don't think so. First things first, Kikyo and Kagome got over their differences before that. Second, Kagome is waaaaaaaaaaaay too smart to do something like that. Third, Kagome was willing to give up her happiness to be with Inuyasha as seen in Episode 48. I don't think she would have done something that would have resulted in hurting Inuyasha. After all, she did love him.
