How do you guys feel about Youtube Gamers? Is it cool, stupid, fun, depends on the Youtuber?

For me I think it's cool and fun and at some point I'd like to join in myself.

As someone who does youtube videos, I find it is a lot of fun. I really enjoy producing content. Though, I don't often find my self watching videos. Not really sure why not, but I just tend to not enjoy watching videos. I generally prefer to play the game myself.

I think that when I am stuck on part of a game that youtube gamers are very helpful. Like when I was playing Final Fantasy 13-2. I was and still am turned around greatly. It's ridiculous how lost I was and still am. I have a good idea of where I should be in that game now but before I sought out help from youtube I was about 2 seconds from crying.

Agreed/ when they give you good hints and tips, but old COD casts and such are kind of annoying now that Titian Fall has launched COD casts are realllllly boring especially when TF shoots you 1000 feet in the air allowing you to air strike down upon someone at random killing them moving onto a big explosion... uhh I could go on forever about that game emotion_puke anyways not the subject people that cast their games onto Youtube are okay and it as Pseudoyoyomi@ said can be really helpful in a spot you are stuck on.

I don't ever remember having problems figuring out what to do in that game really..

but I'm the type who scans every inch of the map for side quests and stuff so Idk.

I did all the side quests but I found that I did everything in the wrong order completely. And I still have things that are not done in that game. I couldn't find where to go and couldn't figure out why I had not opened all the gates yet. I have so many fragments and so much stuff done but there's still more to do. Clock puzzle was fun at first but then I realized no the hell it wasn't when more numbers were added. Pathway puzzles were fun until I needed youtube to figure it out.lol

Normally with youtubers I only watch Yogscast but i watch some twitch streamers on occasion :] Some youtubers i can watch for help in games but i do like a laugh every once in a while.
