Hello and welcome, potential recruits, to the ramblings of a habitual procrastinator! I am the founder/owner of a guild dedicated to the creation of a new story with a crappy working title and far too large of a universe for one man to attempt to pin down the details on while remaining relatively sane, known (for now) as The Other Hundred Years War (TOHYW for short).

What I am looking for is as follows:

Creative writers
Artists of various types (gonna need character art, blueprints, general technology, gadgets and other hardware and banners)
History buffs/military enthusiasts (especially if also skilled in writing)
Whatever you would call people who make new RPG systems like D&D, WoD, Crossfire, etc.

The pay is open for negotiation and I always offer a fair price for commissioned work.

Hey, I am a history buff and crave to learn more and I'd like to help!

I don't have any work to show you, but I can do something! Give me something in history, a few options I'd prefer, and I'll write something of it. You'd want it like a book story, right? Something educational with true events but still interesting?

I'd also rather do this not paid just because it seems fun.

Hello, and thank you for expressing interest in this job. Before I accept you onto the team, I feel it's neccessary to clarify a few things I, upon reviewing my original post, realize that I neglected to mention.

This project is more of a collaboration of ideas than an issue of needing one person to write it. We already have a couple of very talented writers who are also, as luck would have it, history buffs. The problem, which this advertisment seeks to remedy, is that we are all fairly specialized in our knowledge. I, for example, have a fairly extensive understanding of the German piece of this equation, whereas my information on other countries is relatively poor, so my call to history buffs is in an effort to collect individuals who can offer the corresponding fragments to this very, very large story.

That isn't to say, though, that two or more people who specialize in the same area are unwelcome. In fact, despite having a very solid understanding of German affairs in this timeline, I know that I can't cover everything, even for just that country, nor will all of my ideas be good ones. As such, any perspective(s) that you can offer is/are welcome.

As for the pay, I insist on paying you something, even if you won't accept much. You are offering time, afterall, which cannot be given back.

Ah okay, I understand now. I can at least give ideas, maybe not write, but I can give ideas. I mainly learned, and strived to learn, about US History and a little about the UK, more specifically England's, history.

I still don't want to be paid. Yeah my hours are taken, but it's for fun and volunteering is just as good as payment. If you were to pay me, only give a small amount.
