A really interesting video I've come across after reading The Autobiography of Malcolm X, which I recommend to everyone.

I know racism is bad. But just because we respect all other races doesn't mean we can mix with each other because that kills diversity. The Quran says that God created multiple races, languages, cultures, and nations so that there can be DIVERSITY. And with DIVERSITY, we can all recognize from each other and learn from each other. That's why if you read the chapter, God defeated the reign of Namrud/Nimrod by dispersing the one world race into multiple races/ethnicities that each had its own language, culture, and nation. And why did God do this? To restore DIVERSITY! This proves that every race/ethnicity has the right to preserve its own identity but of course to still respect other races and to treat each other as equals.

lol I'm sorry but that is not factual information.
You should study anthropology and then you will learn that many of the 'races' that exist today only do so because of immigration and intermarriage between multiple races.
Just like how languages 'evolve' (e.g.. latin --> old English (e.g. Shakespeare) --> current English) so did/do races and cultures.

Allah pointed out races as an identifier to point out how beautiful diversity is and so that people could intermingle and mix with one another in harmony without thinking one race is more superior to another.

I could continue on but I'll just stop here.

Diversity is beautiful, and intermingling/intermarriage is also beautiful because people can learn the good things from one another's cultures as they evolve instead of placing value on culture that is far greater than religion (or the words of Allah).
