The bike ride of carnage showed no signs of stopping. In fact her driver seemed intent on having her participate, leaving several enemies off balance for her to finish off, which she did. And as the blood, guts and severed limbs continued falling, and the noise grew and grew; a smile crept onto Yuki's face. With each decapitation that smile grew a little more until it was practically from ear to ear, showing two unnaturally elongated fangs where her canine's should have been.
"Hahahaha, HaHaHaHaHaHa, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! MORE! MORE DEATH! MORE DESTRUCTION! I WANT MORE!" Yuki's sanity was a very barely closed latch, and stimulation this intense was bound to unhinge it sooner or later. Then came a question from the front seat of the bike.

"W-w-w-well, now, li'l sistah! What bringz ya 'round dese parts? Come here often, hmmmmmm? Ha-ha-ha-MMMMMMMMMmmmmmm!"

"I came here to take what I want! And what I want is REVENGE! After that I'll keep on taking! Anything, no, EVERYTHING! As compensation for what I've lost, I'll take everything this existence has to offer!" Yuki was completely off the deep end for now, there had been too much switching back and forth from anger to fun to hatred back to fun. As long as the murder train kept on a'rolling, she wouldn't be returning to her normal self.

I'm never what I like, I'm double sided.
And I just can't hide, I kind of like it.
When I make you cry, cause I'm twisted up, I'm twisted up... inside.

Location: The Manor: In the Halls
With:Alone?; Vengeance

Tauivae stopped dead in her tracks. She'd been far too keen on pursuing the flicker of another Sin she'd thought she'd felt, but that feeling was fading and her volatile attention was drawn elsewhere. Distantly, she was aware of a kindred spirit, an ember in the flames of Wrath. It was not something to be pursued, however. She knew, eventually, that that ember would find its way to the hearth. More so, there was something else. The halls were not as silent as she had thought them. The elf was irked at having not noticed before, but there was music coming from somewhere within the manor. Music, in a place that had been devoid of all sounds save her own voice and booted footsteps for quite some time. There had been others present at the beginning of this mad venture, but they had either left or faded, she wasn't certain of which. What she did know was that this building had been empty for quite some time. The song was unfamiliar, though it sounded like something she'd heard before. She was no less murderous when she turned on her heel and retraced her steps back to the main hall. From there, she would ascend the stairs. Tauivae stalked silently closer to the source of the music, contemplating her next move. She knew exactly where that sound was coming from and she was not entertained by the prospect of someone being near her room. If they had not already heard her, she wasn't going to give them that advantage.

I know a thing or two about -- sweet little sister
Her mama kill her if she knew what she do -- sweet little sister

Roxxo giggled at her euphoric exultations. He of course, felt the same way.

"Take whatcha want, HMMMMM? Hahaha-Yeeeeeaaah. I like da way you fink, li'l sistah. Dat's right, TAKE WATCHA WANT, WATCHA N-N-N-N-N-N-NEEEEEED." he said, before revving the engine to charge into another group of orks fighting a lone figure.

"An' right now, I NEED TA GET STUCK IN! CH-CH-CH-YEAAAAAH!"
he screamed, before him and his group of biker nobs flew into the fray, decapitating and otherwise mutilating nearly a dozen of the boys as their bikes slammed into the sea of green flesh.
She'll love ya black and blue -- sweet little sister
Mona Lisa with a new tattoo
She's my sweet little -- sweet little sister

Eddie Valhalla
The song I'm quoting:

Burned by the glory of a sacred fire, a rising force starts to shine.
Alone in the inferno it soars ever higher leaving the demons behind.

Eddie was fairly certain he heard footsteps approaching where he was -- which he supposed was good, because that's what he was waiting for: someone to approach him. However, he couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding, as if sensing a coming storm. This feeling, more than anything else, is what caused him to rise from his languid sitting position on the ground leaning against the wall.

He stopped playing as he pushed up from the ground, pausing just long enough to stand, before continuing his song, albeit more quietly and reserved.

"Hello?" he called out.

"I mean you no harm, and I do hope whoever you are that you ask questions first instead of shooting, because that really puts a damper on civilized conversation," he said, hoping that he wouldn't be immediately attacked.

The lightning strikes cracking the night. I'm not the same anymore.
Thunder and spark in the heart of the dark. I feel a rising force.

Under all the racket?

Location: The Manor: Upstairs, just outside her quarters.
With:Approaching an unknown adversary; Vengeance

The music stopped, momentarily, and a voice rang out. Had the player header her approaching? How interesting... It was easy to determine that it was a male, human (more likely than not), that spoke. A bard? Here? Not that stranger things hadn't happened. it was just unexpected. Tauivae did not sheath her blade, but held it in a defensive pose rather than an offensive one. The elf rounded the last corner and was hit with a wave of nausea. She did not halt in her steps nor stumble and only tightened her grip on Vengeance's hilt. This man was touched by a holy influence...But seemed willing to negotiate. She wondered if speaking to him was worth it. "I do believe that you are right. Shooting is a rather poor way to start a conversation. Well met, Bard. What brings you here?" said an irate, but extremely cautious, Wrath to the man that happened to be standing in front of her bedroom door.

The song I'm quoting:

Valhalla...
Valhalla...
Pick up your sword, pick up your shield, and get yourself on to the battlefield.

Eddie took in this newcomer in a glance. That she was an elf, or at least looked like an elf, was obvious. And Eddie could tell by the way she moved that she was old. very old.

"Forgive me, I mean no disrespect when I say this nor am I trying to be cheeky, but there are a few answers to that question," he answered, pausing only long enough to sigh lightly before continuing.

"To answer, I am here at this mansion because I noticed none of those orcs with strange weapons here, and figured that someone more rational that I could ask a few questions might be here.

"I am here at this particular doorway because, after looking around, it seemed to be one of the things most used that was away from the exterior doors, so I'd be likely to meet someone, and most hopefully, they wouldn't be green and shooting at me.

"And, as to why I am here,"
He paused to look around for effect before looking slightly exasperated, "I can honestly tell you I have no idea where here is nor how I got here. Which is in fact quite disconcerting because the last thing I remember was being aboard my ship and in stasis. The first thing I saw upon waking up was being half-way up some gods-damned huge tower on a tiny outcropping and having to skydive through clouds that I'm fairly certain were trying to eat me."

"But, to back-step a bit... I suppose we've skipped introductions. I am Eddie Valhalla, Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces of Eternal Horizon. And I appear to be a long way from home."

This hell on Earth, you call your life. We'll snuff it out and you're gonna die.

"You're forgiven, if only because you've been so exact with your explanation," said the elf, smirking slightly as she lowered her blade. "I can't say I blame you for being drawn to this manor. We all have been. It's, also, one of the only places the orks have not overrun." She had not expected the answer to be short, but she did expect it to be informative, as was typical of wordsmiths. Tauivae was not disappointed. Not entirely. That he had appeared out of nowhere and half-way up the Tower was problematic. As was how exactly to address him. Someone didn't carry such a title for no reason. "Well met, then, Eddie Valhalla. The name given to me by the clan of my birth is Tauivae Harsanar. It seems a shame for you to be so separated from your fleet. One wonders if there's anything that can be done to get you back to them." The sooner she was rid of him, the fewer issues she would have. Humans were problematic at best and this one had an aura about him that she found disagreeable. Wrath was not entirely ready to lay all of her cards on the table.

The song I'm quoting:

We come from the north. We come from the ice.
We live dangerously. And very short lives.
We fight day by day, Sailing the seas. We're natural born slayers.
We live by the sword, and die by the sword. We're never afraid.

Seeing her lower her blade, Eddie finished playing his song, but he did not shoulder Fenrir. After all, she hadn't sheathed her weapon just yet. He raised an eyebrow when she mentioned his fleet, as he hadn't directly mentioned it, and he smiled inwardly at how perceptive she must be.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Tauivae. And please, call me Eddie," he said.

"As for getting home," he started, before sighing and shaking his head. "Unfortunately, if I had a way to get back myself, I already would have. Honestly, though, I was not prepared to be transported out of a ship flying through Wildspace to another realm with no warning while I was in stasis. I'm sure protocols are going to go through some major changes after this..." he said, before drifting off to thoughtful silence.

"Rita must be worried sick... Knowing her, she's already trying to find me. So, hopefully, I won't be here too long," he said with a sigh.

He stood in silence for a moment before looking at the door, then back to Tauivae.

"Umm... pardon me, but I can't help but think that this might be your bedroom, and I realize the impropriety of waiting outside a lady's room unannounced. So, by any chance is there anywhere else we can go and talk?"

To drink with the Gods, To be singing their songs.
I raise my cup in Valhalla.
To feast in their halls and laugh with them all.
I raise my cup in Valhalla.

Wrath was not going to take him to the throne room; if he hadn't already seen it. Arrogance or station might have demanded a show of power, but she didn't want him to know exactly what he was facing. Not while it proved advantageous to not give herself away. "Leaving this place seems to be a common goal amongst those that I've been able to gather. The ones with enough intelligence to speak, anyway," she said, smirking at some jest of her own. The elf sheathed her sword, despite herself and every instinct telling her not to; those being Vengeance and Wrath. There were different tactics that would be needed, here. "I do have to agree. While there may be a parlor just beyond those doors, the library may serve as a more proper meeting place," she said, turning slightly to gesture towards a curtained archway with her semi-skeletal right hand.

The song I'm quoting:

I'm entertained by the tales from shadows
Shot of life in a blinding light
Whispering through the ghostly windows
Telling me that there is no fright

"So I take it leaving here is harder than it sounds, for one reason or another?" he asked, slinging Fenrir behind his back, tucked safely beneath one of his draconic wings.

"Well, lucky me, I guess, that I'll have people from the outside looking for me. I've yet to come across a problem Rita couldn't crack once she was determined to crack it... and trust me, this'll be a problem she'll throw herself on..." he said, before following her to the library.

"Tell me, has anyone looked through the tomes in the library? I'm wondering if they'll have any clues on how to get out of here... or, barring that, at least tell me more about what to expect of this place while I'm here."

"This realm seems...intent to hold on to what it has drawn in," she said, thoughtfully choosing her words as she made her way towards and through the indicated doorway. The room was circular, reaching another story above their heads, the walls lined with innumerable tomes and scrolls. Her crimson gaze circled the room, a frown creeping in at the corners of her lips."That being said, you may search all you like, but I doubt that you'll find any such knowledge amongst the pages you'll find, here. So far, leaving has proven to be difficult, but there are several of us seeking solutions to that problem." She watched him carefully, even as she made her way to a conveniently placed, albeit dusty, seating area at the heart of the room. A grouping of four chairs, plushly upholstered in velvet, sat in a circle around a coffee table with dark wooden legs and a black marble top. She didn't really take a seat, but rather leaned against the right arm of the chair that was facing him while continuing to speak, her arms crossed over her armored chest. Tauivae was still apprehensive about leaving this task in the hands of meks and madboyz, but it wasn't as if she had much choice in the matter. "Which would make it seem that an alliance may be beneficial, speaking as one commander to another." However, if one of his people succeeded in breaking through...That could prove much to her advantage.

Eddie looked around the dusty room he had walked into, and with a sigh and a quick gesture and melodic chant, vanished the dust from the room with a prestidigitation spell. He moved to inspect the titles of some of the books on the wall, when Tauivae proposed an alliance.

This prompted him to look at her anew, and quirk an eyebrow at her calling herself a commander.

"I've seen no forces other than the orcs outside... Those wouldn't happen to be your men, would they?" he asked, genuinely curious.

The elf was appreciative of Eddie's clearing away the dust from the area, but said nothing of it. She always found herself wary of casters, no matter their origins. Old habits died hard and her fighting years had begun against the Drow. Not that he needed to know that. That her proposal had caught him by surprise had been entirely on purpose. She didn't expect him to accept, but the question had been worth asking.

"Shocking, isn't it? I am, more or less, their leader. Though, not directly," she said, then laughed darkly before rolling her shoulders in a shrug. "These orks are not something that one commands, rather than...Hm...coaxes in the appropriate direction. For instance, I had not ordered them to fire upon you, nor is it likely that they will report to me that they did so."

The song I'm quoting:

I wish to join them in the shadows
Hear the stories of the days gone by
Come alive each and every evening
Blackened, shaped by a moon in the sky

"That must have an interesting story behind it. I'd like to hear it, but first, you mentioned an alliance?" he asked, before mulling it over.

"I see no reason not to help each other try and return to wherever we came from. When, or rather, if my fleet manages to find me, I'd be willing to give you a ride back to wherever you call home. Other parts of an alliance will have to wait until I learn more about you," he said, before frowning to himself. He looked to be deep in thought about something but reluctant to say anything about it.

"We already seem to agree on the primary point of an alliance between us; that being to find a way out of this realm. As for anything else, I do believe that we are, again, in accord in that it would be prudent to know more about each other before agreeing to further terms." Her words were chosen very carefully, as was the habit of a court trained diplomat. Was he suspicious? Perhaps. She certainly was. It was likely that neither of them had laid all their cards on the table.
Tauivae was beginning to feel more ill-at-ease about having sheathed Vengeance.

"Very well. I suppose I will tell you what is on my mind, although I believe you think it to be more dire than it actually is," he said while pacing slightly before stopping and continuing.

"Those weapons the orcs were shooting at me with: I want some. Researching them would greatly improve the forces of Eternal Horizon and cause far fewer people to die on planetary surveys," he said, crossing his arms before hanging his head and sighing.

"I was debating whether or not to make it a requirement for our alliance and payment for transport, but that didn't sit well with me. So, instead, I am merely asking."

"I'd be willing to give you history on Eternal Horizon if that's what you want when you speak of 'laying cards on the table'... but that spans nearly 400 years to before I founded it and the Great War and the Dark Times, and the background for why it was founded begins a millennia before that with the Great Cataclysm. In any case, I'm not sure if you want to spend that kind of time hearing my tales."

Wrath had never been very good at masking her emotions, even before becoming a Sin. That he'd been able to read her was of no surprise. What he proposed next, however, was. How curious, that he was more interested in helping "them"; people that he didn't even know, know their number of or their allegiances. Without asking for some kind of payment; not really. What he was asking for was a charitable exchange. The elf laughed, the mirthless sound fell disjointedly into the air between them, then said, "We could probably spend the remainder of your lifetime discussing our histories, but I don't think we'll have the time to accomplish our goals if we do. I will agree, provided that I can get the engineer of these weapons to agree, to let you have a few examples to study from."

The call to battle,
The Song of War.

The song I'm quoting (Warriors by Freedom Call):

We are warriors,
born from the light
An army for freedom,
defenders of life

"It may be that it would take far too long, however, I believe you are owed at least a brief explanation of who we are if you are to board our vessels. That being said, I would be glad to barter for the weapons, if that is what it takes."

He paused, stroking his beard to think for a while before continuing.

"As for who we are, the simplest explanation is that we are refugees from a ruined world. Through a long series of circumstances, that world drew far too close to the negative energy plane, and is now a realm where anything and anyone that dies revives as an undead. Regular humans become ghouls, ghosts, vampires, wights, and even worse things... like the bleakborne hordes. Casters spontaneously revive as liches, granted they have no phylacteries so they are easier to deal with, but still. We had no choice but to leave. So our people travel through Wildspace and the Shadow and Astral planes in a fleet of ships in an attempt to find a new home."

"Moving on, I personally am not on any 'side' as it might be called. I mean, I am good,"
he paused to indicate the softly glowing holy aura around him, "obviously, and so is most of eternal horizon, but for the most part, our allegiance is not to good beings nor against evil beings. It is more of an allegiance to anyone who values life and against anyone who welcomes the stagnancy, yet seeming security, of undeath. There are... intricacies, but that is the gist of things."

"And how about you? I'd like to know a bit more about you, at least before I let you on board with the people I've sworn to protect."

At night, high up in the heavens we fight
Faster than lightning we strike
Like fires that rip through the night
Surrounded by light

"Really, the guarantee of safe passage and delivery from this place is enough. More so, since your fleet is capable of crossing the barrier between realms." It was quite the valuable revelation that he trusted her with. Their origins were ill-fated. She was familiar with the enemies he described, but notin such sheer unending numbers, not with the death of a realm. That this man was a guardian for all that remained of his people made him extremely important. "There seems to be little that could be said to console one for the loss of their home and the corruption of their people by the touch of undeath," she said, before stopping with a thoughtful pause and continuing on by saying, "There is nothing wrong with fighting for good, fighting to protect the ones you love." The last few words would fall from her lips in a snarl and she turned away from him sharply, caught in a memory. Elves had vivid memories and she was no exception to this. Time had not obscured her awareness of the events that had led to her, ultimately, ending up here. Tauivae laughed, again, fighting to keep herself from falling too deeply into madness. "Ah, well...There's a long story, if there ever were one. Lets say that you and I agree on quite a few things, though...Perhaps you have not suffered from your losses as deeply as I have. That is not to say that you have not suffered, but more so to say that you have not yet lost everything." She turned slightly, casting a sideways glance at him. "I fight to avenge those who no longer have the ability to avenge themselves."
