(Lady M's last post)
Despite bringing their presence to Incognito's attention, he sighed and smiled. "Yeah, Lisa, you did good. You did really good."
Seeing them all, together and grown, brought a genuine smile to Carlyle's face. Seeing Blair and Abra though, that especially touched his heart. "After all these years," he said, "to think, you would be the ones to find me."
He smiled, pulling them both into a hug, the others following suit.
"Hey, Lisa," Legato asked, "Instead of going straight home, wanna go to dinner? Maybe the movies? Sort of, I don't know, like a date, perhaps?"

Abra and Blair hugged their father happily, their twin faces each mirroring the glee the other felt. "I've missed you guys so much," Abra said, burying her face into Carlyle's chest to hide her crying.
"Me too," Blair said with a sigh. "Being gone taught me a lot of the things, the foremost being to never go to Japan when you have tiny bat-wings on your head. The girls go crazy." He flashed them all a smile. "Guess I learned how important family is, too."
Lisa, on the other hand, was not paying attention to the touching family reunion. She calpped her hands together and kissed Legato's forehead, as she was still sitting on his shoulders. "I'd like that rather a lot, actually." She seemed a little more calm than before, though still just as cheery. It made one wonder what made her, uh...'the way she was'.

Carlyle smiled, squeezing Abra once more before cupping Alister's chin. He didn't appreciate what Incognito had done to her, the obvious displeasure evident upon his features.
"Darling, we'll have you cleaned shortly."
Pocketing the black orb, Carlyle decided to focus solely on his children and worry about the God of Shadows later. It would take clever planning to conjure a punishment befitting enough of the crime.
"Let us walk," he said, "tell me everything. I have missed much."
Lifting Lisa from his shoulders, Legato placed her beside him and offered an arm. "Shall we, Lisa?" He figured it would be one less person to bombard his father, Blair too, with questions. Besides, Legato couldn't remember the last time he'd bothered taking anyone on a date.

The reunited family returned to The Shop moments later. Alister didn't bother explaining her blood-stained appearance, she simple hurried upstairs for a quick and thorough shower.
Although Abadon enjoyed Carlyle's company, he wanted nothing more than to return to Bryn. Reliving those horrible memories had physically drained him. Carlyle, being of a very perceptive nature, noticed this and lightly touched his shoulder.
"Taking a walk," he said, "reuniting myself with nature." Locked within that orb had left Carlyle feeling claustrophobic, the last thing he wanted was to stay inside. Besides, the children still needed time to themselves.
Relieved, Abadon climbed the steps to Bryn's room. Once inside, he crawled into Bryn's bed, pulling the blankets around himself. He wasn't sure where Bryn had gone, probably Kelokye's room, but he wanted him.

He shrugged. "Brothers? Twins? The same person? It all depends on your perspective on the whole thing. We used to be one sane, normal person, balanced. And then--well, that's more Kelokye's story to tell than mine, so I'll just say something major happened in his--our--life. After a few more upsets, something happened. We're not really sure what it was, but it split us into two different people. Think a yin-yang, but pulled apart." He sat up and took a piece of paper and a pen out of the nightstand, then drew said symbol. "It's like this. Each half is predominantly one way, but there is still a trace of the other half within it. I'm the evil and the anger and all that, Kelokye is the cheer and love and s**t. However, because of the nature of our 'births', when we're near each other, it causes some sort of...reaction, I don't know. We start to balance out again, but Kelokye doesn't like the anger, and I don't like the sweetness. We're essentially two very bad cliches." Of course, he knew that he already had too much of Kelokye in him. Otherwise, he wouldn't be capable of any of this. But, for some reason, it didn't seem to bother him.

Bryn felt almost guilty giving in to his body, which squirmed against Abadon, almost aching to touch him again, but the guilt could easily be pushed aside.
He moved atop him and kissed him deeply. "Oh, just shut up."
Things went fairly simply in the house for a while. People weren't really fighting (too much), there was a new baby to be taken care of, and even Zero had started to neglect poor Nevin in favor of more "rewarding" tasks in the bedroom.
These, of course, seemed to have set something in motion.
One day, Trigger burst into Froot Loop's room, a familiar look of horror on her face. "Just ******** watch, he'll turn out to be evil now, too--goddamn it, we should've used a condom, ********, Froot, I'm pregnant again."

"Trigger," Froot Loop said, "you're being paranoid, stop it." Kissing Justus' forehead, he handed him off to Aramis and pulled Trigger aside, hugging her.
"Listen hun, now isn't the time for regrets, okay? You and Zero have come this far, don't let paranoia ruin that. You're scared, I get it, but Trigger, you're allowed to be happy, you know." Froot Loop cupped her hand, holding them against his chest.
"Now, you're going to find Zero, you're going to tell him, and you're going to be happier than you've ever imagined." He wanted to continue to reassure her, but the door swung open and Zero fell into the room.
"Sorry, sorry," he said, "I didn't hear anything." Of course, the obnoxious grin said otherwise. Picking himself up, Zero brushed his hair from his eyes, which had tangled during his tumble.
"Trigger, please don't ignore me." He hunched over her, arms wrapped securely around her. He was referring to her time with MK. He didn't want her to go into seclusion and leave him all alone.
"I ******** love you."

Trigger exhaled shakily, bringing her hand to her mouth. "I--goddammit, I love you too, but I've heard all this before, and I just--" She cut off with an unsteady sob, slumping to the floor, her head rested against his knees, no matter how she worried that he was going to turn around and betray her.
It was too much to handle. She waited until she felt like she could move and stood, walking out.
"Just...just let me sort this out a little." She couldn't look back at him. It would kill her. He'd just have that look again. Every time, she hurt him, and it killed her that much more. She didn't deserve him.
Provided he wasn't another MK, of course.
