Dear me.

Since apparently my town doesn't have WiFi coverage, and I'm not sure where I can go to fiind some, I went ahead and finally bought a Wi-Fi USB connector- I swiped it as soon as I saw it ;.; wish I bought it earlier, but I never found it around.

Anyway, after yesterday during which I tried to install it on a computer that usually runs better than the one I'm on now, and failed miserably as yes, it did install it and yes, it started the connection, but for some silly reason I can't understand it wouldn't just let me connect ;.; , anyway today I tried to install it on this one, thinking it'd never work.

It worked.

And I forgot to bring my Pearl with me.

Anyway, I got a Pikachu-coloured Pichu today, via the Eurpoean Wifi event <3

Now I only want a Jirachi. Wish I they'd make one for eourpose already >.<

also, am I the only one who think some most trades off the GTS are completely ludicrous? I put a Leafon up yesterday, requesting a Dialga just for fun. And it worked.

Yes, everyone knows the GTS is strange.

But, think of it this way:

Every Diamond version has a Dialga on it.
But you have to SEARCH FOR Eevee, and TRAIN it, etc, to get Leafeon.
To get Dialga, it's right there, just catch it.

That or it's a hack.

Yeah, the GTS is absolutely no place for a fair trade. Been like that since day one of the Japanese release. The sad thing is, people put up s**t like Starlies while asking for legendaries because they know someone, somewhere will indulge them. That's why I like hacking a bunch of legendaries with retard names and painfully illegal info and trade them to the people.

Also, yesterday I traded a Meditite for a Jirachi. Only it wasn't Jirachi. It was a Scyther named Jirachi.

Who believes it anyway? >.>

@Gloomie: Aha! The name glitch! Since the beginning, there's been a glitch with the GTS that Nintendo's just been too lazy to fix or something. If you nickname a Pokémon a different species' name, and then put it up asking for that species, your Pokémon's sprite will show up as that species. So, like, if you nickname a Vulpix "Flygon", and then put it up asking for a Flygon, the Vulpix's sprite will be that of Flygon's.

Sounds like it's mutated to "Just nickname it a different species" if it wasn't asking for a Jirachi in return. But that's why you always go by the "Nickname/Species Name" part. You can't trick the server into changing the species' name.
