Seishi listened to what he said but only paid attention to half of it, she recieved her answer within the first two sentences. She had never needed to trust anyone to believe them, nor had she ever paid attention to reliability. Trust was a word with no real meaning to her, if she ever were to attempt to buiold a friendship with someone then it would be no different whether she trusted them or not, in fact it would be easier for the friendship without that or any other human traits that come with emotions. An intelligent person would see it easier to put their trust in her, whether or not her emotionless status let her put trust in them. She did not trust, but nor did she betray, not until she was betrayed herself. The golden rule says "treat others as you wish to be treated" and the way Seishi lived was close to the opposite. It would not really be friendship, not the way Hiro had explained it...so the closest she would have to what they called friends would be whatever owner she found next. But just to make sure she'd make an opposing argument and pose another question, even though the chain of questions she had planned was already broken. "I cannot care...but if I did most everything the same as someone who could then would it not be different?" she aksed this slowly and articulately but did not stop there, she had something else to say before he replied and after just a moment of thinking it over she added more. "For a friendship to work, as you've made obvious, only one of the two involved with it needs to trust the other...if one side trusts the other friendship is possible. Or so I gather from what I know about trust." she stopped after adding that final part to what she was saying. What she knew about trust was that it meant one person being able to rely on another...there was the possibility of having turst without friendship, though now she saw that it didn't work the other way around...as Hiro clearly pointed out. She noticed now that the more that she talked the longer her comments grew, and the sentences grew less stretched apart from each other as well. She didnot know why, though just as she began to think about that she began to hear herself think from another part of her mind again, Another point well made...for someone without emotions this conversation is oddly two-sided Seishi waited for the answer calmly, hearing the last thing her subconscience thought up on it's own gave her the idea that she might have once been vulnerable to emotions. Each comment that she heard come from that inaccessible place in her mind seemed to have more and more emotion backing it up...as if that was where all of her emotions were held up. She did not think about that for very long, she directed her full attention to Hiro within the first moment of her thinking. She did make a good point though, if one person trusted the other then i wouldn't mattter whether or not the person that was trusted felt the same way toward the other. Friendship was built on trust...but there were always those friendships that worked out that way, one person was very untrustworthy yet when that person became friends with someone else, often times they put their full trust in them. Theoretically, one with Seishi would not fail completely...but now that he'd told her that, and what he told her next might change what she was looking for anyway.

Hiro lifted his gaze from the ground and back to her as he waited for a reply. He knew one had to be coming, because he highly doubted she'd just leave right then. She seemed to be talking more now than before, and he was actually a little relieved. This talk of friendship... Was she trying to establish one with him, and maybe Alyssa as well? He wasn't sure, but he didn't really mind answering, so he would continue the conversation until she asked something he refused to answer, or walked away.
As he heard her next question, and the words that went along with it, he frowned and tilted his head very slightly. He considered the words just for a moment before replying again. "I find it easier to trust someone if they care about me. If they don't, then why would they be bothered to help me if I needed it? If they didn't care, then they wouldn't mind if I died or something, and knowing that, it'd be very hard for me to trust that person. Also, if they don't care, why would it matter to them whether their trusted or not anyway?" He paused again, falling silent once more as he continued watching her. All of this talk about friendship was making him feel guilty for abandoning Yuki. He needed to find her sometime soon.

Ame nodded, allowing Lancaster to pick her up. It was fun, being this high. Lancaster was tall. Ame took the map from his hands, and gazed at it. "I don't understand how you can read this" she told him softly turning it around in her hands. "Like, how do you know what the squiggles mean?"
She then noticed Cat, who was looking extremely sad. "Whats wrong?" she asked playfully, leaning over to poke the girl atop her head. "Come now, we must all be happy. After we get back from the library I'll share the cookies that I snuck onto campus". She giggled softly. "This old lady gave 'em to me, white macadamenian nut cookies."
It was true. Ame really had these cookies hidden away in a room that she shared with some girl she didn't know. This was only temporary. Ame planned to move into her own room as soon as it was allowed.
The walk to the library was a pleasant one, and fairly easy. The schoolyard was gorgeous. The weather was warm and pleasant. A few rogue clouds dotted the skyline here and there, other than that it was crystal clear. Ame then noticed a large building. She pointed to it. "is that the library? Its so...so...librariesh

Hiroshi stared at her for a moment, and then sighed quietly, running a hand through his hair and stopping it halfway through. He really wanted to go sleep somewhere... But he blinked his eyes a couple times and slowly looked back at her, still gripping his hair. "Well..." he began slowly. "It'd be very hard for you to gain my friendship, but I guess it wouldn't be impossible... If you hadn't attacked us without warning like you did, then maybe I wouldn't have such trouble, but it'd still be difficult. With others it might be easier, if you make a better first impression or something..."
He paused, rethinking what he'd just said and trying to figure out if he was making sense. He was actually starting to feel a little dizzy. "So, I wouldn't say you can never have it... If you at least make an effort to seem like you care then that would help, but it's easier to really care rather than just pretend do. That would build real trust more quickly as well. Also, a name would help..." He fell silent again, just watching her. He found it very hard to believe that someone just wasn't capible of caring. Maybe if she put some effort into trying... There had to be someone to her worth caring about, even if she hadn't met them yet.
He glanced at Alyssa again as she removed his arm from around her, blinking a couple times again as he watched her stretch and then sit down. But he didn't say anything, because he couldn't think of anything to say. He just slowly shifted his gaze back towards the girl, his arms folding across his chest now as his wings shifted restlessly. Now that it seemed Alyssa didn't need his help any longer, it was even more tempting to just fly away from all this.
[Editted! Don't worry about it Raine. ^^;]

Asuka wandered through the Courtyard. Her silk white ribbon and her long lavender hair blowed in the wind. She also wore a halter white dress that went down to about mid-thigh length. There was also frill on the bottom of the dress' skirt. Asuka also wore matching frilly tights and little white dress shoes. To match with her white ensemble, the girl also wore a pure white collar around her small neck. Asuka's blue eyes seemed to look lost, but she still wandered around with a smile on her face. In the girl's hands were several bags. She had a small back pack on, and two bigger bags in each hand. She had just arrived at Ria High, and wasn't used to her surroundings yet. So, that probably explained why Asuka would stop and pause every few seconds to look around at the area.
Where are those maps that the android mentioned? Asuka thought to herself, stopping and sitting down under a tree. And where do I put my bags? Is there some one that takes them, or something? After a few moments of pondering on what to do, the small 11 year old got an idea. It would be a wonderful idea. She would play her flute and hopefully it will attract some animals that could keep her company. That way she woudn't be bored while she waited for some one to come and help her out. Asuka took off her back pack and opened it up to look for her flute. It wasn't too hard to fin it, since there wasn't a lot of things that were in the small bag. Within moments she took out a beautiful silver flute.
"Okay. Here goes nothing!" Asuka said taking a breath and beginning to play the flute. This was a special flute. Depending on the tune and song, she could cast spells on others, but she mainly used it to call animals to her side. As she played a soft and sweet tune, a few animals came to hear the flute. A few bunny rabbits came and several birds landed on the branches of the tree to listen to the flute. Asuka, even though her eyes were closed, she knew the animals were there, and began to play a happier tune.
I hope they're enjoying this song, I just composed it recently! Hee hee! Asuka thought to herself as she continued to play, tapping her feet to the beat of the song.
