She was confused, and she looked it. The courtyard was familiar to her, this area was familiar to her, yet she had seen no one yet who rang a bell in her memory.
How long had she been gone? Over a year, she knew because of the weather outside. She bit down on her bottom lip and pushed dark curls out of her eyes. She was fully clothed now- a white skirt that wrapped around her legs as she walked, getting in the way, and black tank top. She wasn't wearing shoes. She didn't wear shoes, no matter the weather.
Her wings were hidden by her shapeshifting abilities. She didn't want all eyes on her before she got a feel for the place. She wished suddenly that Jalynn was there, but she knew that Jay would probably never come back. Her eyes went to the sky, her memory decieving her. She couldn't picture the angel's face that had saved her so many times. Sadly she pushed away thoughts of Jalynn. She couldn't even remember the last time she saw her.
Raven's heart was heavy with guilt and it was apparant in her eyes as she walked through the courtyard. What had happened last time she had been here? She was pretty sure she had dreamed of it, but the last time she had seen it in her dreams it had been completely destoryed.
She sighed. Where was everyone?

Shawn grins and gives a definite nod, as if to say that's the end of that. Of course that left him with nothing else to say at the moment and after a few silent seconds passed he realized this, not sure what to say next when he noticed Naomi looking upwards at the sky and her wings moving slightly.
"Um, since you're an angel, that means you can fly, right?" Of course, having pose the question, he looks a bit embarrassed, as though he asked a rather obvious thing and immediately tries to explain, "I mean, you probably do, but I thought I should ask first, because it might have been a sore point if you couldn't and I wanted to know if it was fun, but I didn't want make things worse if it was sore point you see..." He trails off in his babbling, keeping an embarrassed smile in hopes she understands he didn't mean anything bad.

Ashori entered the courtyard with a scowl upon her face, fangs bared at nothing in particular as she glared hatefully at the ground. Her clawed hands were clenched and for once, she was not wearing her cloak. Instead all her features were wide open. She had blonde hair, with a naturally black part that covered the right side of her face. It was pushed to the side now, kept out of the way by a pointed ear to reveal a crimson right eye. Beneath it, on her cheek, was a symbol resembling a jagged question mark, black. Her left eye was a bright, crystal blue. She stomped her way towards the fountain, random black sparks flicking off of her pale hands.
Against her back were tucked two large wings. The left was leathery and black, while the right was white and of feathers. Finally, behind her flicked a slender black tail, never ceasing its movements.
The teenage girl stopped abruptly at the fountain's edge, glaring into the water at her reflection. Then she sat on the ledge, long dark blue dress swirling around her and settling into place. It was somewhat tight around the middle, revealing how sunken her stomach looked, giving her the appearance of someone who'd gone without eating for weeks. That might have been the case.. She dipped her fingertips into the water, the black sparks leaping off and providing the entire fountain with an electric current.

After a moment of watching the dark electricity taint the water, Ashori's cold gaze swept across the courtyard, settling upon a male sitting under a tree. She started at him, face set and almost grim looking. He seemed a little old to be at a high school... didn't he? She honestly didn't know though, since she couldn't remember back farther than a year. Maybe high schools did have older students allowed. Obviously this one did. She shrugged off the thought as she stared at him a bit longer, running her tongue lightly over one fang.
Her head tilted to the side, causing the patch of black hair to fall slightly back over the right side of her face, slightly obscurring the crimson eye and black marking beneath. Very slowly, she pulled her hand from the fountain and waved it in the air a couple times, watching the charged water droplots fly off and sizzle on the stone ledge of the fountain where she sat. Her eyes ran across all of the male's weapons, hovering somewhat curiously over the guns, before she pointed her hand towards him, all fingers curled except the pointer finger and thumb. She pointed directly at him, thumb towards the sky, and pretended to take aim. "...bang," she murmured under her breath, a small spark leaping from the end of her finger, and falling to the ground where it left a singe mark.

The warm orange sun blazed over the land, and but a cold wind breezed through the peaceful courtyard. The sound of rushing water could be heard from the fountain at the center as slow footsteps on the stone floor rang throughout the area. Akira entered this courtyard, with his gloved hands folded neatly at his back, and his jet black wings arching gracefully in their elegant manner behind him. His electric blue eyes reflected the shining sun, as he gazed out dreamily into the sky. Slowly, the cold lids of his beautiful eyes fell to a close as a soft grimace rose to his face. The black wings behind him slowly melted and wrapped itself around him, serving as a black leather jacket on his back.
Akira didn't want to catch too much attention yet, he's just only arrived, after all. With a sigh, he glanced over to the fountain, oblivious to everything save for its selfish celestial glimmer. Up till then, he could only hear the slow thumping of his own heart at the back of his head, confusing him of any feeling, wiping all emotion from the surface of his face.

Ashori watched him carefully, hand still positioned and pointed as sparks danced across it. Her eyes narrowed just slightly when he stood and approached, slowly drawng his gun and aiming it at her as well. She managed to maintain the same irritated, bored expression, even though she was suddenly nervous. She'd never been held at gunpoint before. At least, not that she could remember. She stayed seated though, just staring back at him. Her eyes took in every little movement, following his finger as he pulled the trigger. At the sound of the shot, she simply blinked once.
In all honesty, part of her did wish to die. She kept thinking maybe that would finally allow her to return hom, but at the same time, she would never kill herself to test it. So, when nothing happened but a squirt of water, she was slightly disappointed. She sighed quietly, shifting her hand and holding it palm to him now. In an instant, a filled in circle of the black electric energy had appeared a few inches in front of her hand, catching the water and absorbing it instead. Then it disappeared, dropping the water harmlessly to the ground in front of her.
Her eyes shifted for a moment to a new male who had looked to the fountain and towards her, widening for a split second as she noted his wings. Her demon wing shifted slightly against her back while the feathered one remained still. Then she returned her attention to the first male who'd just fired water at her.

Ashori stared at him for a moment before she slowly folded her arms across her chest. "Maybe I am," she replied simply. Her voice was cold, containing the very faint trace of a hiss that she neither cared nor was able to keep out of her tone. She remained seated on the ledge of the fountain, staring fixedly back at him. Her red eye was glowing very slightly simply frm the gloom cast by the black portion of hair, but she didn't note this or care. Her tail flicked behind her, dipping into the water and then jerking upwards, flinging random droplets of water in all directions.
"Why are you here?" she asked suddenly, and bluntly. She was referring to his age, or what she guessed it to be by looking, and the fact that this was a high school, but she wasn't sure if he'd understand right away what she meant. That didn't keep her from falling slient though, and it didn't prompt her to further explain. Instead she just stared quietly at him once more.
Though, once again her eyes flicked over to that winged male as he actually approached the fountain this time, seating himself on a section a bit away from where she perched. She set her hand back in the water, just her fingertips, to keep the dark electricity circling through the water. A faint smile, half smirk, played across her lips as she mentally dared the male to touch it. He'd be shocked, for how long was up to him, depending upon how long he kept his hand in the water.
