More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

Trinity figured the quickest way is use the concentrated meteor substance that Leviathan had created and that Heather used. They were still experimenting ways to stabilize it with little success. Though it came across her mind she thought it best not to mention anything, for that will lead to a whole slew of other problems. Heather was lucky she wasn't killed before that kid came along to help. "I know for me a meteor the size of me landed on me... sort of, I didn't feel it on me for I believe it was the first time I dropped through my shadow without realizing. I guess there was so much coming from the meteor, things started happening just before it touched me. My hair and eyes were white, blinded and my ears felt like they were being pulled. I came out the way I came back in, tracing my steps to climb from the shadow of the meteor. I had to feel around and make my way back to the house."

"A few sick days later my sight returned and my whole body endured a transformation. My purple locks came in later over taking the white hair I once had. Then for a while I thought it was just physical changes, it took a while before I realized I had shadow manipulation. I discovered this while I was outside walking my bike tripped and fell into a bar … and the rest, as they say, is history." She shrugged with the last part.

"I know, and I don't want to take advantage of that." Kerana saw Alec fight back his visions, she bit her lip. Was it a good idea to tell him to hold it back. What if he can't hold it back any more. Should he just let it go? "Let it go. Let it go, if you can't hold it back any more. Psych away but don't get floored." The fox girl got a little carried away as she found herself posing like she was in a musical. She covered her her mouth and cleared her throat,"Ahem what I mean to say is... holding it in may not be good for you. I don't want you to hurt yourself if it is already surfacing."

She touched his cheek. "Overcoming it or not I'm here for you, just breath, whatever the route, don't lose yourself Alec." her eyes were concerned as they focused on his she softly squeezed his hand a little.

Alec smiled at Kerana as she went into her impromptu musical number. He took her advice to heart and held the hand that touched his cheek. A moment later his pupils were fully dilated as she gazed into the possible futures.

"A city in the clouds. A civilization long forgotten. Three peoples with iron masks ride atop a dragon. The dragon's shadow brings an army following her flames. The fallen rise and betray their own. A woman with two minds becomes a walking arsenal. The dragon guards it's master. It's master commands a king from another star. A family torn by ancient darkness."

His eyes returned to their normal state as he pulled himself from his vision. He wasn't as worn out as he normally was. He only had to look into a few possibilities. "They are heading into something terrible. They will most likely come out alive, but you cannot go under any circumstances. The person riding the dragon controls animals and animal metas."

"Maybe that bond is between all of us who came out of Legion. Who knows? I ain't telling Cass so that's up to you kid." He wasn't going to risk her wrath.

Damien studied his surrogate father for a moment longer before scooting out of his chair and walking to a quiet corner to be by himself. It didn't take him long to find the other.

"Salutations." He mentally projected for lack of a better introduction.

"We haven't been properly introduced. What should I call you? Surely after a month you have settled on a name."

Freya scrunched her face and grumbled. She then tossed the meteor fragment into the air in frustration.

"Gah!" Gidget exclaimed. She scrambled to catch the fragment as it was flung behind Freya. She breathed a sigh of relief once she had a proper hold of it in her right hand again.

"Be careful! These things are volatile." she chastised while securing it in the locker from whence it came.

"I'm sorry, but that's some anti climactic bullshit right there. I got myself all worked up just to find out that I've essentially put a down payment on powers."

She huffed again as she looked over to Liv. After taking a deep breath she calmly explained. "They can stop you because they have a group whose sole purpose is specialize in the neutralization of magic and metahuman abilities. They accomplish this with a wide array of tools and weapons forged from some weird metal that only they can forge. Not to mention there is one that can cancel out powers just by being in the same room. If there was a chance for you to be able to flee I'd tell you, especially since you were the one that helped me back in the light prison last month. I never got a chance to thank you for that, by the way. I owe you one."

"It's a good thing you don't get the full brunt of it right away. You could end up destroying this place. There have been cases of those people who ended up destroying the place they lived and or killing those they loved." Theo calmly explained. He was reffering to what happened to himself. Despite him not killing his friends, his outburst did level the college dorm, killing god knows how many.

"And you don't want that."

"That's.....good to know." Liv responded to Freya's explanation. She too had the ability to cancel out powers. Most likely not as the stuff Freya was talking about. Her's was more like a sphere she could project around herself or a small area. Still..she wondered if that worked." And..you're welcome. Though thanks to all of that crap I haven't slept for a month. ******** Dusk rambling on and on." Liv said growing more pissed as she went on." Ya know what. ******** that guy! If I see him there I'm gonna scorch him out of existence! Gidget, you got any of those suits in my size?"

Gidget still didn't quite trust Liv, but she was the lynch pin of this plan. For now Gidget decided to play nice.

"As it so happens, I only have two more suits for women. They're one size fits all. Sort of like the plugsuits from Neon Genesis Evangelion."

Freya walked over to the far end of the display and took both suits. She tossed one to Liv and proceeded to disrobe in full view of everyone.

"Bad a**. Let's get these NERV suits on and make with the blinking."

Gidget blushed fiercely. She quickly spun on her heels and turned away from the gradually more fleshy Freya.

Theo didn't turn his head but did his best not to look at Trinity's teacher getting changed. She'd prolly kick his a** if he thought about her teacher like that in any way.

"Nerv..." Liv mumbled softly as she caught the suit. Her method of changing started out normally. She took of her top and glanced back at both Trinity and Theo as she covered her breasts with one arm. You could clearly see her playful smile. Then she vanished in a dim flash of light. Only to reappear fully dressed in her suit. She stretched a bit and tied her hair into a high ponytail.

"This fits even better than latex!" Liv said as she ran her hands up from her stomach to her breasts. Shifting her weight on her right leg she rested a hand on her hip. It really showed her figure.

Now Liv changed was a whole different thing. If she wasn't going to shy away he certainly wasn't going to avoid her. He did his best not to look directly but it was in vain. Any healthy guy would have looked at that spectacle! That girl really rocked a perfect body and she knew it! That was the worst part of it.

Trinity respected the privacy of her teacher and Liv and turned away just as they were changing. She frowned at the fact that Theo wasn't being a gentleman and narrowed her eyes as she saw his reaction to Liv.

Terrible feelings started surfacing. There was no rationale to calm them, like being practical or efficient. She held her head and tried very hard to calm herself and steady her breathing. "We need to go now! I can't hold it together... Shade... beginning...to...surface..." she tried very hard to try not to think about what she just witnessed. Yet the more she tried not to think about it the more she thought about it.

Shade had been reacting in kind to Trinity's darkening mood.

"Bite her face! That'll ruin her damned looks. Then rip his balls off! How dare he look at her like that."

Freya's animal instinct could sense the approach of something dangerous. She zipped up her suit and strode up to Trinity.

She grasped her student by the shoulder and slapped her sharply across the face.

"Get a grip! We don't have time for this catty bullshit. Kick their asses later, we have a civilization to save."

Shade had been so close to emerging that she felt the slap and retracted her influence over Trinity from sheer shock.

"S-she slapped me?! No one has ever slapped me before!" the ancient stammered to Trinity from within her mind.

Gidget brought her hands up to her mouth and gasped at the sound of the slap. She had heard from Trinity how blunt Freya could be, but it was a completely different matter to witness it.

Though everyone was shocked by Freya's behavior, Trinity was used to it. Though it did not make it hurt any less. She touched her slapped cheek, she found that she didn't need to fight Shade anymore and breathed easier. Understanding why she did that, she smirked and said, "Thanks Freya, I needed that."

Trinity turned toward Liv, "Are you done toying with him? Lives are on the line Liv. Every extra second we spend here is another second Dusk is closer to completing his goal. This is not a game. We need to go now!"

Theo was about to reach for that gun but was glad he didn't have to. It seems a good slap would do the trick as well. Got to remember that one. Trinity's....display did pull his eyes off of Liv. Which was too bad because he did enjoy the sight. But Trinity was his girl so he shouldn't stare too much.

"Hey I was done before you started shouting." Liv replied. She teleported next to them and grabbed theirs hands. Then they were just...gone. Her world of light was very different from the shadows. Golden arcs and streams of light flowing endlessly. It was truly a sight to see It was impossible to navigate if you didn't have the power. Liv attached the group to a stream of light and they merged with it only to hop out of it fraction later. Then as fast as it happened they were at their destination.

"Hey I was done before you started shouting." Liv replied. She teleported next to them and grabbed theirs hands. Then they were just...gone. Her world of light was very different from the shadows. Golden arcs and streams of light flowing endlessly. It was truly a sight to see It was impossible to navigate if you didn't have the power. Liv attached the group to a stream of light and they merged with it only to hop out of it fraction later. Then as fast as it happened they were at their destination.

Where they popped up looked a lot more lavish than Freya had let on. It was a fully furnished room complete with bed, chairs, a table, and a minibar with a few drinks and food. There was a small opening above them that was quickly closed off and sealed after they appeared.

However, upon their arrival they would notice a sensation of heaviness.

"Ugh." Freya grunted. "The walls are made of that damn metal. I never noticed it before."

On the other end of a doorway stepped an Elfin man who appeared to be in his mid thirties. He was adorned in a simple outfit that suggested he was lounging around.

"Well well. If it isn't the Queen's highly abrasive sister. What are you doing here with these outsiders?" he asked flatly.

Freya quickly approached him, but she then stopped just short of the doorway. She could smell the heat coming off of the frame suggesting that it would be a bad idea to try and cross the threshold.

"Ladies," she said while keeping her eyes on the man. "This is Veran Cale. He's the one I told you about that has power canceling abilities. He'll be our escort once the armed guards arrive to take us to Kaelonni."

Veran folded his arms and cut his eyes at Freya. "That's rather presumptuous of you. What makes you think I will just..."

He had paused because his eyes had a chance to study the outsider with violet hair.

"That...you look...it can't be." he finally managed to choke out.

The trip was very different. Though most of the time she found herself squinting. When they arrived and her eyes adjusted, she thought for certain that they would land in the middle of the jungle not a room that looked like it was from a interior design magazine. She noticed something else, she could no longer sense the shadows. Not again! I just got them back this morning.

Then the man approached them, she noticed he too had pointy ears like hers. She wondered briefly how could this mutation from the meteor get it spot on? What are the odds? Then again her powers were strongly connected through genetics so that would be a big factor, she guessed. She felt a little relieved when Freya explained he had the ability to cancel powers, at least it wasn't just her this time. She looked to Liv briefly and frowned a little, for it meant she could not go anywhere at the moment.

Trinity blushed at his reaction about her appearance, she should have expected that since stories of her ancestor had such an impact on Freya and Teshoumaru. She wondered briefly if everyone on this island would react the same way. She calmed herself and cleared her throat, "I'm Trinity Smith, descendant of the original, at your service." then bowed a little.

"There isn't much time. We've come here because the Queen and all of the Soichi clan are in danger. We need to speak to her of what we know."

Liv had hoped Freya had it wrong but it seemed she was right. They did end up right in jail. It seems they could manipulate light like that and to top it all of, that elf-like man could cancel powers like she could. But it was a good thing Freya told her about it. The instant they materialized she placed a small barrier around her to cancel out powers. Nothing would get through while leaving her powers intact. Liv did not mention this of course and just played along.

She sighed and folded her arms beneath her breasts and sat down on the bed. There was some eye rolling involved when she found out Trinity was somewhat of a celeb around here.

"And there they go" Theo simply said at the much emptier room." Guess I gotta prepare for Charles's s**t storm."
