Zelexia I wish we could have hung out longer. Did I miss anything cool? Work last night was... work... I clocked in with one minute to spare and hit the ground running as usual. After pretty much skipping breakfast, I didn't get to eat until about 1am last night... When I did get some food... burning_eyes That was probably the worst hot dog I've ever put in my mouth, I was starving and I still couldn't bring myself to eat it. It was way too salty, greasier than fried chicken, and I really don't want to know where that "meat" came from... gonk Anyway, I ate plain hot dog buns for dinner, and they were ok I guess, at least they got rid of most of the bad taste in my mouth...
gonk I feel so bad you didn't get to hang out with us and have a good meal. I should have told Rob to ask you all if you could swing by the hotel and pick some of us up and then we would have had more time, but I didn't think about that until later. Hopefully next time we'll have better planning. x_x

Vickicat: It's ok, it's not your fault that the planning was a little lacking. A lot of people approach a meet-up with a "come whatever may" attitude and whatever happens happens. I really try to plan things out so that everyone is on the same page, then we can spend more time hanging out once we're there, and less time deliberating the details in person we could have hammered out online.
purplekitty: I know I have enough plates, silverware, and bowls to host a potlatch, I have plenty of seating if I move the loveseat and with a little cleaning and rearranging we could have it at my apartment no problem. However, I think the issue with having it here really is the day, since my days off are Tuesday and Wednesday, and that doesn't work out well for most folks. sweatdrop
I wish I could take Halloween off, especially since it's on a Saturday.

purplekitty Lol I think we need to plan things a bit better.
Zelexia Vickicat: It's ok, it's not your fault that the planning was a little lacking.
Lol, I'm not taking blame for this. talk2hand It was pretty short notice even getting the meetup together from a Halloween Horror Nights meetup 3 of us were thinking about going to to a meet Mackenzie meetup all changed in the same week before the event. Then, I told everyone to meet at Mackenzie's hotel so we could figure out from there since not everyone wanted Lai Lai's and we didn't know what Mackenzie even wanted, etc. We were like question confused when we heard you guys were at your apartment instead of the hotel and then even more question confused when you guys went to the mall. Even if we decided on somewhere beforehand (like Lai Lai's for example), we found out it wasn't feasible to do once we were there. Although...after the walking we did to get to Friday's, Lai Lai's might not have been out of the question. lol
No hard feelings, Zel. heart It's just that I feel people are blaming me for this when the plan was for everyone to meet at Mackenzie's hotel. I just wish everyone would have stuck to the plan and then there wouldn't have been that problem. I mean without you (and maybe even Freya) there, we weren't able to find Lai Lai's (only 1 of us was vaguely sort of familiar with the area and where we were and where Lai Lai's might be) + we may have had to walk anyway since there was a bit of a car situation with Mackenzie & Vaginasaurus moving their vehicle out...which we didn't realize would be a problem until after we were at the hotel, hence why we ended up walking. So, even with planning, things wouldn't have gone as planned.
heart I still love you, Zel. heart I just don't think I should get blamed for people not following the plan and then saying I didn't plan well enough. confused sweatdrop

I'm busy on Halloween anyway. If you have Tuesday and Wednesday off, although they usually aren't good days for me, if I know far enough ahead of time what day you want to do this I can probably get that day off. My job is weird, they call me in on an as needed basis, Monday through Thursday. That doesn't mean I get to work all four days. Usually I only get one or two days a week. So a lot of times if I have plans I can ask to come in a different day.

Count CrazyRob Er...where did you end up getting that hotdog? neutral Work provides meals to employees so we don't raid the kitchen and take what we want when they're not looking. Lately the food they've been serving the night crew has not been the greatest... The exception to the rule was the Pepper Steak they served on Friday. It was made from the leftovers of a roast they served to guests on Thursday, and it was the most delicious pepper steak I've ever eaten. The next day, Saturday, they did a complete 360, and served those orange "hot dog" things which weren't even fit to be dog food. It took 2 hot dog buns, several glasses of Coke, and a lot of chewing gum to get that taste out of my mouth... Just thinking about it... gonk
Yes, the meet-up was short notice, and you did a pretty good job of organizing everything... I just loath I-Drive with a passion unrivaled and avoid the area like the plague, and maybe I forgot to mention that to everyone... so I can't really hold you responsible for that... I regret that perhaps if I had been more involved with planning things, maybe I could have gotten to spend a little more time with everyone... somewhere far far away from that accursed thoroughfare... However, I shouldn't take my frustrations and unflagging hatred of that godforsaken strip of asphalt out on you. I apologize for acting so childishly. I still hate International Drive though, and I'm sure you understand how that is... anyway, sorry for being such an a**... Will you accept my apology?
I was happy I got to meet Mackenzie and Vaginasaurus, and I wish I could have spent more time with them.

Zel - lol, that was a lot of white text. Oh, it's fine. No worries. heart Uh...so with your food they give you, do you know in advance what food they'll be serving or do they just give you whatever they've got that day when it's time for your lunch break?
Freya_Crescent My only complaint is that you had Makenzie's number and if we had decided the night before, there's this wonderful little thing called mapquest, dunno if you've heard of it... Oh, I didn't know I was the only one in the group who had it + my phone was nearly out of time on it, so I was only using it if I absolutely had to. Zel called me I think the morning of and said it was up to Mackenzie...but she was busy with her event and didn't even know what was around the area + some people didn't even know what they felt like eating even when we were there. Oh, yeah, I've heard of Mapquest...but it usually takes people in circles...or at least everyone I've talked to about it; I prefer Google Maps. But, I had a GPS in my car too. It's just there was a vehicle situation we only found out about once we were actually there and about to head out to eat...so we either needed you there with your car or we all would have had to walk anyway. Sometimes, planning 100% is hard though. I mean we weren't even sure about you making it and then didn't even know we weren't picking up Zel until after 7pm. Oh well. No worries though. whee

purplekitty Vickicat purplekitty Loved it heart Sorry thought I would see you guys again when we left for Hotel. Hope you guys didn't get loss. Yeah we were going to try to meet up with you all again back at the hotel but we didn't know where you went and we thought Mackenzie might have been having to deal with the naked guy in the pool. rofl lol yeah we dropped them off right by the pool. It was really crowded, cars were just parked everywhere! Thank you so much for that, too! It gets so confusing walking around that hotel/resort/maze! Even Sunday Morning there were still cars parked between trees on the curb and stuff. It was crazy! Oh! And the whole naked pool thing? That was somebody's wise idea of a prank of sorts to get us to come back. I was so mad. Just absolutely furious! burning_eyes scream stressed evil There have been several good bitching outs since then. twisted
