LOL. Kanye West is the newest meme thanks to his antics at the VMAs.

Basically, for Best Female Performance or whatever category, it was between P!nk, Beyoncé, Tailor Swift, and someone else, and Swift won (her very first VMA). So she goes up to give her thank-you speech, but, like, three seconds into it, Kanye jumps on stage, grabs the mic from her, and utters his infamous words; "Yo Tailor, I'm really happy for you and Imma let you finish, but my girl Beyoncé had one of the best music videos of all time! OF ALL TIME!"

Basically told poor Tailor she didn't deserve that award, which apparently caused her to cry during the commercials the VMAs immediately cut to after that.


My "Yo Hoenn..." gaia status last week was a mockery of that meme. lol

I've thought this guy was an idiot for a long time (I think the first time I heard of him was when he made a scene somewhere else by announcing that George Bush hated black people...), but honestly people talking it up is still giving him attention, and that seems to be what he craves.

@Jedi: Yeah, I've seen it stated several times that he only did it for the attention and by keeping the meme alive we're only giving him what he wants blah blah blah. Whether or not he purposefully humiliated Swift just to get people talking about him could be debated, but I like the meme. I think some of them are really funny and if it's paying him attention, oh well, I say.
