Does your family have a history of hereditry illnesses?

Does your family have a history of illnesses, such as alzheimer's, certain cancers, blood disorders etc?

I'm just interested to know, and I appreciate that this is a sensitive subject... my Grand father is currently dying of liver cancer... he's not on morphine yet, but no one really know's how long he has.

My great-grandfather died of Parkinsons disease.

My grandfather died of heart disease, and complications of diabetes.

My grandmother died of a blood disorder that caused DVT.

My family have had it preeety bad... emo

My family has no history of fatal or deadly illneses.
But we do have a history of ADHD in the men and ADD in the women.

On both sides, my family had the chance to get Diabetes. My dad has it right now.

My mom's side of the family has a history of heart problems; my mom and grandpa both had to have heart surgery (and my mom is only 42 o_O). I think it's mostly through my grandpa's family. My mom was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which me and her think I have symptoms of. I'm really paranoid of my heart ever since my mom had to have surgery, it was a scary experience.

Crap always happens to women in my family. We have a high risk of diabetes, pancraes and liver failure, and if we smoke we have a almost certain death sentance.

Then (male/female) we have rather bad hearts.

Just thinking about it makes me wish I was a guy.

No physical illnesses that I'm aware of, but my family has mental illnesses.
On my dad's side the women tend to have social phobias, which unfortunately I got. P:

On my mom's side of the family, there's history of breast cancer, leukemia [in males], diabetes, and Down's Syndrome.

On my dad's side, we're not sure...my grandmother won't tell of any family illnesses, and she doesn't show any signs of anything.

I carry the Down's gene, but I don't have to worry about diabetes since I have a thyroid problem...oh yeah, that's also hereditary on my mom's side. .__.;

I just need to marry a man without Down's in his family.

My family on both sides have problems with diabetes, and blood pressure.
From my mother side, skin cancer I think.
And from my father's side some weird bone formation. meh pinky is bended, and my sister has a "pregnant finger", it's just a little funny, nothing creepy. I love my pinky xd

My family has a history of serious heart problems. My mother had a heart attack when she was only 23. I get so paranoid when I have chest pains because of that. I'm nearing 19. confused

Countless people in my family have diabetes. I've never been much into sweets because of that. Never really got to eat many sweets when I was younger.

My father gets flash migraines, and now I'm getting them too. *Shakes fist at father* It's painful.
