Global Warming, something we all want to change, debate on, and just plain ignore it. I personally dont care about the planet. Sure, I use low flow toilettes, I use fabric shopping bags. The reality is, All those studies they do, mean squat. The following.

To study a billion year old planet, would take a billion years. A scientist with 50 years on the field, isnt going to get much information. There are so many hidden things that are covered by religion, and conspiracy.

Global Warming is as real as Man Bear Pig. It exsists, oh yes, it exsists. But it will take time. The planet has been going through Global Warming ever since the first creature took a dump.

All of these sudden weather changes? Its a big pile of many coicidences. Tornadoes are natrual, Tsunamis, so is every thing else. Because one thing happens, you cant blame it on Global Warming.

Me? I do believe in Global Warming. I am not to worried about it, if it happens when the world finally collapses, it will happen. I really dont give a damn. We deserve it any way. If you live in Canada, (which I do) We have igloos to hide in wink

What are your views about Global Warming? And Al Gores furious attempts to get attention? With that insanly boring movie......

I think that global warming is a problem but I also think it has to do with Earth's nature istelf. In the Field Museum at Chicago, in the they mention something about Earth having many ice ages and that we're in an ice age ourself. I don't know much about this, so I'd have to do a bit of research on it.

Lol, that movie shocked my teacher, then we had to watch it, then write about it.
Quite boring. But interesting.

Personally, I beleive Global Warming is true. Down where I live, it never used to get as hot as 37° C as it has less then two days ago, and drap to 23° C now.

Though I am not concerned. Logically, I am dead on this earth. Technically, I am still living. I'm a born-again-Chiristion, so I could care less.

But if it does come while I still raom on this earth, I can go up north with my Canadian buddies and her sexy igloo's.
I <3 Canada, eh?

I am one.

To me, i think global warming is indeed heating up the earth. In the southeast, droughts. In the winter time in the Northeast, it makes it snow like crazy. Its very different because of the different effects in the different seasons. I also think that global warming has brought more floods.

She lay down on the grass,
Looking up at the sky,
thinking, it’s all she can do.
If she disappeared she would not be missed.
She will be gone just like everyone else.

Getting up from the grass,
she walks on the sand,
looking outward towards the sea.
She walks into the water high up above her knees.

Global warming is a problem, and I'm sure that many people just wouldn't care. I agree that it must take as long a time as the worlds been around to discover how to help it, but people have been studying the world for some bit of time, and it's not been just one person. The more people who get involved the greater the chance of helping in some way. I do little things that help, and I would love to do larger things, but my willpower isn't too great.

In the future, I hope to help the environment more and more, because we live here. If you haven't realized it yet, global warming and cooling is a process, sure it may have happened in millions of years, but we're still fairly close to that point. It may not be in your lifetime, but it might be in one of your children's or grandchild's, and then you'll start to care. It's going to happen no matter what, but if we can subdue it for some time, wouldn't that be better?

It's our world, our environment, we have to take care of it, that's our responsibility. We are the ones who are making global warming come faster by inhibiting the world and tearing down trees, building our homes, jobs and habitat. None of the other animals did that, they all learned to live with what they had; we had to go ahead and change it, and we're paying for it, along with those other innocent animals who were doing fine until humans came along.

The waves softly hit her legs.
She looks at the sunset and its yellow-red hues
she walks into the sea, farther and farther,
opening her arms towards the wave.
The water is high up to her hips.
The wave comes towards her.
She looks at the wave with her arms stretched out;
the water starts to rage, the wave hits her body hard.
Then the water calms down. The water recedes,
then darkness falls, and all goes dark.
The sun goes down and the day is done.

The thing is, we can change our ways and protect the earth. Simply by turning things off when your not using them. It's no big deal. You don't have to become vegetarian and stop driving your car completely. Instead, eat a little less meat, and if you can take the bus or ride a bike, or even walk, do that instead. And don't say a few people won't change anything. If everyone says that, than we won't get anywhere. Do it anyways.

The animals weren't doing fine when we came along. neutral

The earth goes through warming and cooling points, and has been going through them, since the begining. Saying that we're the cause of it, is like saying humans were responsible for the last iceage. It doesn't make sense.

The temperature of earth has increased, to be sure, but quite a bit of that is from SOLAR warming. The temperature on other planets has also increased a few degree's. Are humans responsible for that as well?? neutral

I'm not denying that greenhouse gases and such adversley effect our environment, but not to the degree that people like you and Al Gore make it seem.

We are just now coming out of the Little Ice Age. Yes, the earth is warming, because we're in the normal warming period right now. If you want to know more about global warming, google info about ice ages and sunspots/solar flare activity. Also compare the data you find with incidents of volcanic activity and earthquakes, and you might find an interesting trend.

By the way, all this worrying about CO2 emissions is not really necessary. The single most prevalent greenhouse gas on the earth is water vapor. Yep, you heard me--clouds. I'm not saying we shouldn't reduce our CO2 emissions. Of course we should. Our world is a nicer place to live if we reduce our ecological footprint. But cow flatulence is worse than our CO2 emissions, and the water vapor expelled by volcanic activity is more likely to affect global warming trends than our CO2 pollution. Granted, I don't want to breathe the stuff, but it's not causing global warming all by itself no matter what Al Gore says.

Some will be shocked about what i will say. I dont care about global warming, nor do i thing of it as a problem. Why? The fact that guys of our age (13~21), which are considered "the future" are talking about it and worrying about it means that the world is in good hands and that in the future this will be a problem no more.
