I was watching LA18 news channel Chinese time, & I saw Chinese people practicing real hard for the Olympics. xD
I was like Wow. Very dedicated.
& in the basketball thing, they made like every shot they shot.. o____o

There was so much construction there to make it look prettier for the Olympics..
And there were sooo many stores selling the Olympic stuff
And they have such cute mascots!!
I like Jingjing or Huanhuan :]

Lol I saw a lot of stores selling those mascot dolls when I was in Beijing a month ago. I really like Jingjing because she's a panda. xd
And yeah it's pretty noisy, hectic and dirty in Beijing right now. They're tearind down 50 year old neigbourhoods like crazy. In fact, I heard there's going to be this gigantic theme park/village/resort right in the centre of the city, south of Tiananmen, which is going to open when the Olympics come.

As for myself, there's absolutely no chance of going to Beijing to watch the Olympics. It's been less than a month since I've come back from China and there's no way I'll earn enough money to buy plane tickets to Beijing next year, let alone tickets to the various olympic events. I'll just have to watch the olympics on our Chinese satelite tv. mrgreen
