Read and listen to all of the things he says. If you ask me when he talks about Roxas the most. He sounds really gay.
I don't think Axel's gay, it's just how people think of what Roxas and Axel's relationship is. To me, their relationship sounds like a brother and close relationship. But to others, they think differently because they think of one term of friendship. Afterall, there are many different kinds of friendship.
