Heh, this translation is for Timsn:

"Hello! Welcome and how are ya?
Whoever can understand me, I just wanted to say that, for a while, I've been trying to find some Armo buddies here.

[English part is already English xP]

Anyway, I'm a 'Halebtsee' Armo (this being the kind of Armo that has descended from parents from Syria), if there are any others, that'd be pretty cool. But I don't really care that you're 'Halebtsee,' others are welcome as well."

Come and speak!

I thought I should include some info about us as well.
wikipedia
The Armenian language is an Indo-European language spoken by the Armenian people (Indo-European being Spanish, English, Hindi, Portuguese, Bengali, Russian, German, Marathi, French, Italian, Punjabi and Urdu to name a few). Some Indo-Europeanists, notably Clackson (1994), have proposed that Armenian may have been grouped together with the Hellenic branch (Greek). This is called the Graeco-Armenian Hypothesis, in combination with a Graeco-Aryan hypothesis. Many scholars such as Clackson (1994) hold that Greek is the most closely related surviving language to Armenian.

The Armenians are a nation and an ethnic group originating in the Caucasus and in the Armenian Highland. After the Armenian Genocide, a large influx of survivors fled to France, the United States, Argentina, the Levant and other countries that welcomed the Armenians. There are an estimated 8 to 10 million Armenians around the world. They speak two different, but mutually intelligible dialects of their language: Eastern Armenian, spoken mainly in Armenia, Iran and the former Soviet republics, and Western Armenian, spoken primarily in the Armenian diaspora.

Armenians have developed unique, long-lasting, and modern culture through contact with both Europe and Asia. Traditional Armenian dance and music are among the oldest, richest and most original ones in the Near East, and are still learnt and practiced today. Armenian cuisine, as ancient as the people itself, is a combination of different tastes and varieties native to the Armenian Highland. Over time, it has been spread to neighboring nations and to the New World by the Armenian diaspora.

I think that should be enough.

I called her on the phone and she touched herself...

I'm not gonna lie, I've never heard the word "Armenian" before talking to you. sweatdrop I live in a primarily white/old people town. We have some other ethnicities but really not a whole lot. =/

...I laughed myself to sleep.

Heh, that's pretty much how everyone is when I first mention that I'm Armenian. We don't have such a great population of people anymore. Especially since we're so divided along the surface of this planet.

The funny thing is, a certain significant figure in history had referred to the Armenians as being the purest of the Aryan race. Kinda scary coming from this man.

If I do say who it was, you might end up hating the Armos because of the connection between these two entities (If you haven't already figured out who it is that was obsessed with the whole "Aryan" thing).
But I've heard a LOT of people agree with what this man has said. Some peeps being swedes, others being Irish and something like that. And a couple of very proud Armenians as well. But I'm not here to debate whether or not we Armos are the most pure Aryan race.

Anyway, that page is pretty good. Its words are from my dialect so I was able to read and such. Though I wish it actually used our alphabet in there as well.

Like Amo food, Greta?

Mod powers deactivate! Could you believe the random, stupid post that guy made in here? Good thing I deleted it.

Anyway...

Heh, I don't see why it's so funny, but I guess I can...? @.@
But please, do use it to confuse them, it's always so fun doing that.

If you ever need to know any word in Armenian, just let me know and I'll do my best to let you know what it is.

For instance, hmmm...

Took vodkee bes g'ohdeek gor.

Just ... you know... be careful when you say that.
