Well, I'm going to post the way I feel about love! I feel like love isn't real. Love is the feeling you get when you're with someone who you just like being with. Be it your boy/girlfriend or just friends, bit in most cases a boy or girlfriend, and that's what I'm going to base this around. Love isn't as much of an emotion or feeling than it is a dependancy. When you get used to someone treating you well, or even just giving you the slightest bit of attention, you start to think you love them. That's why a girl can say she's in love with a total jackass, because of the simple fact that he's giving her more attention than anyone and she likes it, be it positive or negative attention. When a break up happens, you feel all sorts of emotions. Whether it's happiness, angriness, sadness, etc. Usually the feeling falls between angriness or sadness. That's because you know nothing is left to fill that dependancy you developed. In reality, your life hasn't changed much from the day you started going out with someone to the day you broke up, but since you have developed a dependancy, you feel strong emotions. That's why I think in so many cases people start to cut or think about suicide when they're broken up with, because they don't have anything to fuel their dependancy. If you can look past the way you feel when you're broken up with, there's really no reason for such strong emotions. Well, not much more to say. The reason I don't date anymore is because I've felt those strong emotions, and there are far more healthier things for me to be lnvolved in. Anyways, do you agree or disagree?

well its' kind of like this,

Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight
Gonna grab some afternoon delight
My motto's always been 'when it's right, it's right'
Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night?
When everything's a little clearer in the light of day
And we know the night is always gonna be there any way

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
Looking forward to a little afternoon delight
Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite
And the thought of lovin' you is getting so exciting
Sky rockets in flight
Afternoon delight
Afternoon delight
Afternoon delight

Started out this morning feeling so polite
I always though a fish could not be caught who wouldn't bite
But you've got some bait a waitin' and I think I might try nibbling
A little afternoon delight
Sky rockets in flight
Afternoon delight
Afternoon delight
Afternoon delight

Please be waiting for me, baby, when I come around
We could make a lot of lovin' 'for the sun goes down

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
Looking forward to a little afternoon delight
Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite
And the thought of lovin' you is getting so exciting
Sky rockets in flight
Afternoon delight
Afternoon delight
Afternoon delight

Afternoon delight!

I loved James before he payed more attention to me than the other guys. How did I know that I loved him? Because I wanted to make him happy, to make him smile. I value(d) his opinion, his words, over anyone elses. I only cared what he thought of me. I wanted to be a better person because of him.
Then there's the slight lust factor, how those stupid scientific people put it.
Anyways, I don't agree with you.
I love my boyfriend.
Let's leave it at that.
Ok then, say you and your boyfriend break up for some reason. Would you be broken down to pieces or would you pick your life back up from where you left off before you started dating?

Depends on the reason.
I would be pretty broken inside, yes. But I wouldn't make it known to the world. I'd keep going on with my life, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't hurt horribly when I thought about him, or saw him.

I see, you have more sense than a lot of people I deal with in situations like this. So then why do teen people bother dating when a breakup is almost inevitable and they'll end up heartbroken in the end? That's the whole reason I've decided not to date till I graduate High School, because I've felt heartbreak and I almost failed a grade because of a girl I was with.

Hon, I have more sense than just about anyone.
And they bother because of horomones, or that they really do care.
I bother because of both, but mostly that I really do care.
And at least I'm honest about it.

Yeah, I'm well into puberty Soviet Mudkipz. Puberty is probably one of the reasons I've gone so deeply into thought about this. What does puberty and adulthood even have to do with this though?

Am I being dishonest about something?

Haha, just letting you know, Sov's a mod, too.
No, you weren't being dishonest.
I was just saying that I'm one of the few that I know for being honest about caring, and having the horomone (or lust) problem.
I'm a fifteen-year-old girl (soon to be sixteen), of course I have that problem.

because it seems like a little whimsical thought of a kid. anyways
love is real, you feel it, see it, and hear it, it will always be around
whether you believe it or not
just people don't know the diffrence between infatuation and lust
and they thnik that' sall their is
love is an emotion and exists very well

I think loves definition differs between people and times.
Some may think its wonderful and some think its worthless.
There is no correct answer.
Love is everchanging.
