It's not easy to fall in love, or else you've never been in love, or don't know what it is that love is.
Give yourself some time, some space. Someone will come along eventually that will make your life new, and amazing.

Usually when I'm feeling down cuz I was dumped I spend my time with friends. That always seems to help. Working (if you are old enough) helps get your mind off of it too.

I just went through the same thing myself. Personally I couldn't follow eri x core's advice if I wanted to cause I don't have friends. So I don't know if that works for most people. I doubt it would work for me because my biggest problem in life is repression. For me the worst thing I can do is do something that will make me forget the bad things that happen. I have to outright face them and let them take their toll. Then after feeling like s**t for a few days I feel better. I feel way better after that than I do when i repress it forever. But that's just me personally. I have no idea if that would work for you or not.

You know what's really strange? I don't think love exists. I think that it is a lie. I mean, love is supposed to bring happiness, but... most of the time it only brings pain and anguish. WHY does a human search for something that brings despair and depression? I just find it so... stupid (for lack of a better word). neutral Sorry, but it just kind of came into my head. I mean, this guy broke up and felt so bad. That is love gone bad... I ponder this oft at night.

You can't have love without that pain. I do believe love exists, I'm currently in love, and it makes me happier than I've been in a very long time.

Love is what you make it.
It can exsist or it cant.
It depends on the time and the place.
If you deserve love and want it, you will have it.
If not then you end up hating love.

Love is an ever changing thing, it never stays the same.
Its different for everyone.
