I had my wisdom teeth removed today. Woo! Boy was that fun. Anyway, My mouth is full of gause and ice packs are my best friend....
...so is vicodin....
but anyway, anyone else had or will be removing thier wisdom teeth?

Ohhh ouch! I don't have mine coming in hard and heavy yet, but then again, my teeth have always been late.

Yeah mine didnt start poking out until a year ago...And I'm 20. Most people i know had thiers taken out when they were about 17 or 18. biggrin

Get real. The dentist was doing his job. It was YOUR TEETH that were causing the problem.

The dentist didnt remove mine. I went to a oral & maxillofacial surgeon. A specialist...because I'm that special!

Percocet is better. That and morphine drip. Yah I missed my meds in the Hospital.

Depends. My surgeon wanted to do the surgery on Friday morning. So you would miss like maybe one day of school. It just depends on when the doctor usually does surgeries...they'll kinda tell you when you scheduel it. I did mine on Friday and I had to miss class. I had off yesterday and today from work to kinda...rest. But tomorrow morning I have work and even then I dont think im ready for not resting. I still need ice packs and painkillers. So....You might need like...3 days off....maybe 4? They told me the peak day for swelling is the 3rd day so tomorrow I'll prolly look bad. *SIGH*
