When Lutia appeared in the mindscape the first thing she did was look up.
Surprised by the sound she covered her ears looking down and made a second discovery. The ground was closer.
Glaring her facial expression hidden behind her scarf Lutia looked at her current appearance critically.
Her shoes once orange were now a hard yellow leather still with there exaggerated size that gave her an edge when walking the line.
Her leggings white on one leg and blue on the other were covered in patches of brown that were very plain against the bright fabric.
Her brown leather jacket remained virtually unchanged though it had a brighter sheen.
Her scarf that she usualy kept folded properly now sported an extra eight feet of tails that blew in the wind.
Her hat and glasses now sown together attached to her scarf on the sides which would be a benefit in such a windy region.
One feature Lutia failed to notice was the Jarian Symbol covered the back of her jacket the eye open wide.

After a moment Lutia spoke with a forced calm.
"So This is what Cadwallander Whataname thinks about..."
Why am I shorter???
She turned to Nic(k) her eyes daring Nic to respond.
"Where would you suggest we look first?"

Nic looked at her clothes and decided the guy had a thing for pilots. She did make a note of the structure, though. She liked the jacket. Scarf tucked out of the way, goggles holding short hair out of the way.
She looked levelly at Lutia, considered suggesting sinning in circles and pointing, decided against it and sighed.
Eyes closed, 'ears' opened.
Wind, town, space. Where was his Core? The essentials of personality that were at the center of the mind and being. She didn't hear it. Didn't feel the boost of power Nightmare usually lent, spreading her further than she could reach on her own.
Shook her head. "Town." she said. "Ask questions. Can't tell from here." Pause. "Some kind of block in my way." WHy the honesty? She hardly knew. It needed saying. She'd have to be closer to find this Core.
Why?
She didn't know.
On top of being new at it, she'd never encountered someone with such absolute disbelief in magic that Nightmare was significantly weakened.
Lucky Cad--he got to be the first.

Lutia looked around considering there options.
If this is the mans mind then everything has some sort of significance.
"People.."
Lutia said to herself quietly. Deep in thought trying to recalls what she knew about the Kanareshii clan leader.
What information did Record pull up?
She looked to her left at the docks hoping to remember some of the details.
Was working for the city watch before walking off the job.
Showed up later in the aerial race taking first prize with an antique biplane as the Kanareshii leader.
Is Very thick..

"Then we will check the cafe. Perhaps 'people' will be there with answers."

So Lutia agrees, Nic thought, That's nice. There were more things to interact with there, anyway. More items holding meaning that might tell them where to go. She glanced around, checking Bari for signs of disagreement (though she expected none) before taking point and heading off towards the cafe. If he did have another opinion, she'd be happy to wait.

Lutia stared her gaze shifting from Barington to the bartender inquisitively.
Is my hearing going?
Shaking her head Lutia sat down at the bar.
"We are looking for information. Could you.. Tell us the current situation in these parts?"
Lutia asked trying to sound more local in an attempt to get answers.

Nic left the talking to Lutia and the communicating to Bari--he seemed more capable here than either of the.. mostly-females. Instead, she drifted around the Cafe, pausing to look at the photographs and the songs on the Jukebox, stopping finally at the piano, studying its keys.
Then she looked up.
"Have you got any apple juice?"
He HAD asked if there was anything he could get them.

Nic returned to the bar and her glass. "Sorry, we're kind of new." An apologetic smile spread across her face. "We're still getting the hang of things. Trying to figure out what's what and what isn't, if you know what I mean." her fingers curled around the second glass, but she paused. "Ah... What do I owe you...?"

Light reflected off of her lenses concealing her expression entirely.
"Where would we go to then to get more information on...The subject?"
She asked determined not to let the conversation end without any gain.

"You just can't let things alone, can you?" She asked Lutia, rolling her eyes. To the bartender she added, her apologetic smile honestly back in its place, "She's never been very tactful. If you'd rather not- I mean- we can leave..." Where they would go, she didn't know, and that was as plain as the nose on her face. The girl with the smile (who had yet to sip her drink) was so green you could almost smell the sap.
If there was one thing Nic knew, it was lie with the truth.
And the truth was simple. She had never been here, had no clue where she should be going or doing, and was badly in need of a friendly chatterbox who'd lay it out for her while being happily oblivious to the fact that she didn't belong (she had gotten very good at covering for the latter detail). That she was with a mute soldier and another person as green as herself did not help her case, but she could manage.
She could manage just so long as she stayed a step ahead and nothing went terribly wrong.
Nic/k had the feeling something was going to go terribly wrong.
Doesn't it always?

Lutia's gaze shifted to Barrington wondering just how much that mute knew about the events transpiring in the Kanareshii leaders head.
"In that case may I have a chilled orange juice?"
She asked curious if a drink within someones phyche would actually taste good.
An idea came to Lutia that seemed fairly simple. So simple that it would probaly be a wrong lead.
"We would also like to know if there is an airfield in the town."
