Zaku's Room Don't mind the mess, okay? ~Zaku This is Zaku's room, on the second floor with all the rest. His is the second room on the left, and he chose it for several reasons. First off, his room has the most windows, giving him a constant flow of air. This is important to him, because he can practice this way without any risk of doing damage to the house. Second, because of the color scheme. Zaku loves the color green. Third, because of the bathroom. His bathroom has no shower, as he hates showers, but it does have a bathtub, which he uses regularly. His room is in a constant state of chaos. Things are rarely in order, and usually there's only one walkway, but he can always find what he's looking for, even with all the mess. He doesn't have a whole lot to make a mess with, but somehow his blankets always end up on the floor, along with the few sets of clothes he has and all of his books for school. Hanging on his door is a "whiteboard" for people to write on and leave notes and stuff. However, his whiteboard is green, not white, and more often than not, he's the one leaving notes. Constantly found on the board are the words "Don't mind the mess, okay? ~Zaku" because he doesn't mind people going into his room, he just wants to make sure they're prepared to trip over things. At the moment, the notes on the door are as follows: Don't mind the mess, okay? ~Zaku Leave me a note here if you need anything, okay? I'll get back to you as soon as I get your message, promise! Zaku's Current Mood: Calmly happy. Zaku is currently: not here. If not here, Zaku left the room to go to: the hangout room. You're more than welcome to go inside and look around if you want, but don't move stuff, okay? I'm sleeping, please don't come in right now. Or if you have to come in for some strange reason or other, keep it down and be prepared to see me in my boxers. If you go in, LEAVE THE WINDOWS OPEN. My room gets stuffy if you close the windows.

Zaku looked around the room, beaming. "With all the windows open, I bet I could get a really nice breeze in here!" He immediately opened all six of the windows that the room had, then looked at the attached bathroom. "Hmm...well, it's not too big, which is good...and it's environment friendly, which is better! Yep, this is my room for sure!" He went back to the bedroom and sat on the bed, taking off his backpack and opening it. "Might as well start unpacking now!" He pulled out a few pairs of pants, two of them black and one of them green. Following that were four pairs of shorts, all green and identical in style, and then eight pairs of boxers, six green and two white. He pulled out several dark green long-sleeved shirts and a few long-sleeved black ones, a black two-button jacket, a green hooded sweatshirt and a green tie, then set his empty backpack down on his bed. "Right, that's everything..." He set his clothes on the shelves, noting that the room didn't have a dresser. "Shelves will do just fine. Not like I have anything else to put on them anyway. Cool, I'm done unpacking!"

Zaku gave the room one more good look over. "Alright Zaku, this time you're not gonna let yourself break anything. This place is nice, I don't want to be kicked out of another one. Hey, there's a laptop here! Is this mine now? Wow, that would be really cool, I've never had stuff like that...well, for now I should assume it's not mine, but if it is...well, then I'll have to learn how to type, but that shouldn't be too hard. Think I'll look over the house now. Yeah, that's what I'll do!" He pulled his arms into his sleeves and pulled the long-sleeved shirt off without taking the short-sleeved one off with it. "Much more comfortable. Hope no one minds that my chest is showing a bit, I don't have a bigger shirt..."
((Out to the stairs and such))

Zaku walked into his room and sat down softly on the bed, tilting his head to face Travis as he did. "Hmmm. Well, I suppose it couldn't hurt to have things just in case, that's for sure. Anyway, this is my room. Sorry my clothes are on the shelves and all, but there's no dresser. I tried to cover my boxers so that no one would see them if they came in here...oh, do you...umm...well...do you know how to type?" Zaku asked eagerly.

Travis looked up from hir scanning of the room to look at Zaku "...Yes. Farly well I believe... do you need something typed?" a curious expression came to hir face.

Zaku shook his head. "No, I..." He looked at his feet, ashamed of himself. "I never learned how. Because I was always being moved around, I never really had a chance to learn stuff. That and I'm a slow learner as it is, it takes me forever to get things down...to be honest, I can barely do basic math..."

"Would you like to learn? If you'd like I could teach you." Sie looked out his windows "We could do like, an hour or more a day." Sie fiddled with hir fingers, hoping to get some of hir nervous energy out, she looked over at him with the curious look still on her face.

"I'd love to!" Zaku said, excited. He quickly forced himself to calm down. "I mean, so long as you're okay with it and all. I've always wanted to know how, but never really had the chance to or anything. There was this laptop in the room when I got here, so I thought maybe I could learn. I don't know much about computers or anything, though, so it might take me a while..."

"Oh, well the computer we'll have to tackle together. I've never had the money for a computer." Sie reeled with the wave of excitement that sie had absorbed from the boy. "Zaku, eh... if you don't mind, could I sit down somewhere?" Sie felt hir legs starting to shake as though sie was crashing from a sugar high.

Zaku sweat dropped. "Ummm...I don't have any chairs, but you're more than welcome to sit on the bed." He moved over so that Travis had room to sit down and reached for the laptop. "Well, I found the thing to open it..." He opened the laptop and stared at it. "I have no idea how to turn this thing on..."

Sitting down and letting the energy ebb away Travis looked over at the laptop "There should be a switch or a button somewhere." sie leaned towards him and looked around the keyboard area. "If its not up here then I would think it would be one the front or the sides..." sie pointed at a button "is it that one?"

Zaku looked at the button hesitantly, then pushed it. "I'm not sure, but we'll find out in a second..." The laptop screen slowly lit up and showed that it was loading. "Guess that's the one, then...how long do these things normally take to start up?"

Travis looked at him "Really, your asking me?" sie smirked "Not long I assume... wow that has a lot of lights..." sie looked back at the screen and jerked when the startup tone made itself known through the speakers.

"I dunno, I figured you'd know better than I would..." Zaku shrugged. "I mean, you know how to type and all. All I know is what each of the letter keys is, but it would take me forever to sit down and type something out, I can never remember which keys are where." He instinctively put his hand out when the startup tone rang, and the volume lowered quickly. "Sorry, didn't know the volume would be so high..."

"Its ok," sie shook hir head to get the ringing to stop but only succeeded in making hir dizzy. "You can work with sound too?" Sie looked over at him interested.
