Ok,i don't beleive in God but i respect peoples beliefs,i have reasons for not beleiving in him aswell:
I don't beleive theres a whole paridise up in the clouds or some where where people go when they die.
If he was real why hadn't we stopped world disesters(sp?)
i think its ridiculus that people say that he made the earth and the first people on it
i do beleive their was people like jesus and muhammad etc who spread these "Religions"but i don't beleive that there is a person they got revelations from.
What do you think?
and remember this is a civilised debate with no calling people heretics and no major cursing please

I don't believe in God(s).
The idea that one (or more) omnipotent being(s) is responsible for all living and non-living things in the entire universe.
I also don't believe that our lives are being watched, so we can be judged after death, by said omnipotent being(s), and then, if found that we do not "have faith" in him/her/them, we're sent to rot in eternal damnation, for using the power of reason and logic and forming our own opinions, something that said beings are supposed to have given us.
Punish us for doing things we were given the right to do? Absurd.
That would be like your parents giving you a piece of cake, and then grounding you for eating it.
There are far more reasons why I don't believe, but I'm short on time.

I believe in a higher power, but the thing is that I don't know who I'm praying to for sure. For all I know, I could be praying to a 100 year old guy in a toga, A monster, or even a kid who plays with his poops in the toilet.
I don't believe in the concept of heaven or hell. I believe that when we die, we can choose between becoming reborn as a different person without memories of our past lives, or stay a spirit, watching over whoever we desire until we're ready for reincarnation. However, that doesn't mean that I think a higher being has any control over it.
The higher being I believe in has little to no control over our lives and loves everyone, no matter what color, sexual identity, gender, or how they live their life. "It" cares about every single one of us.

I dunno how it's possible to debate about something like this.... There's no way you can prove either way till you're dead, and then ya can't come back and prove it to people anyways, and no one would believe you either...

I dont know how to debate about this topic. But, I know that I believe in God. He is real. For he has made the earth, the stars, the people. I know that some people don't believe in the Lord. But Jesus DIED for your sins. For us to live if we ask for forgiveness from Him. I know that I am okay with people that don't believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. & That is okay. But then, again. It is not. We will be punished when we die. We will either go to heaven or hell. God makes the decision. I know that I am going to heaven though, for sure. Its not how I live my life, nor is it how if I do good works. But I know the Jesus loves me, and he took is life. For me to live forever, in heaven. The place he provides for those who believe.
If you don't believe, read the Bible. Every word is true there. (:
If you do want to become a Christian, and don't know how. Just start reading the Bible! Start in John, which is in the new testament, or even in Genesis. (=
Reading the bible wont get you to heaven. But it will help you understand. Pray to the lord above. Ask him for forgiveness today. He would love for you to be a part of his family!

Don't claim that the Bible's words are true. There is no proof that every line in the bible is verified by fact.
Hell, there's not even proof that Jesus was the messiah. Or that he "died for out sins". Christians believe he was, but do the Jew's? No. Why? Because there's no proof. "He rose on the third day.." Really? If some guy came back from the dead, that would be undeniable proof that he was devine, right? Right.
So then why don't the Jew's believe Jesus was the messiah? Uhhhhh, maybe because he never rose from the dead????
So for now, stick with "I believe in God, and Jesus, and the bible", rather then "they're real and true" because it's obvious I have more then half a mind to challenge your claims.

I'm stating my opinion and defending it against people like you, who obviously have never taken the time to research the topic of discussion and just jump in, looking like a ******** fool. Is it stoopid in here...
To believe in a god I believe is complete madness. There is a scientific theory for pratically everything we see on this planet. The only thing that we have to go about that there are supernatural is the bible and suppoused "visits" from the other worlds. But we aren't here to discuss that, but we have the bible. A suppousedly holy book that revelates the supernatural that has happened throught the time on Earth. But in that same way, they are merely stories. A revolutionary wives tale massively distributed. The bible relevates that if you are good in your current life, you will enjoy eternal bliss in the Kingdom of Heaven. The prospect is revolutionary, everybody wants to visit an eternal paradise as opposed to going down to the burning world of hell. This basically says, "be good or suffer eternal pain". Then you must also think of other cultures out there. Where do you think all these ideas were born from? Scientific fact? Anything but. This concept was born from the ideas of men who needed something to believe in. To break free of the common beliefs. Some, even base Gods on common occurances that happen everyday in our typical lives. Such is the case of the Romans and Greeks, who made a God for every natural disaster or miracle there is. Surely there is not a man living in the clouds who decides when or where to cast his lightening or a woman that makes the corn grow by simply being acknowledged. No. While I would love to spend my life in a paradise, it it probably not to be. But the world may never know. No person has visited Heaven or Hell to come back and record their info into a book. There may or might not be. The human race is in somewhat denial, we make things up for that that cannot be understood. I want there to be a God, I am just unsure of what death brings, the concept...scares me.
...or is it just me?
