My poems..Can you read them and tell me if I should publish?

Eyes of blue

Eyes of blue, Wondrous and bright
Eyes of blue, My guiding lights

Your eyes of blue entrance me.
Things more beautiful there can't be.
Your eyes of blue I could stare into all day
Your eyes of blue make me never want to look away
Those eyes of blue Don't think they're all that make you desirable
A myriad of features make you all the more admirable.

You are the one who makes me wonder.
Your unkind acts in the past tore my soul asunder.
No matter how much you hurt me I'll come back for more
I'll always be by you even when you've made me sore.
I love you more than people think a highschooler can.
If you asked I'd stick my hand into a fan...
You are the one I love and the one I long to hold
I wouldn't trade you for my weight in gold.
I'd give you my heart,And let you just hold it.
I'd give you my soul,But I already sold it...

erm....they're alright....but you kinda have to be incredibly good to get something published....they're sweet but the second one's a tad cheesy...just my opinion, don't hurt me.

It's just for a school lit.mag. Yeah the second one I wrote to an Ex girlfriend, I didn't really try for it but the first took me weeks to get finished it was an anniversary card/gift for my girlfriend.

I am fallen yet resurrected
I am all of nothing

yeah you can see the first ones kinda to a higher standard
I like the first one, I just have a thing against love poems haha mainly cause I can't write em!

The first one I spent so long on...I began to hate poetry because I kept feeling it imperfect but I'm satisfied with it. the second one was on the spot to appease someone...

well I been writing since I could hold a pen, literally...you just kinda have to study the dynamics of poetry as well like...if I go back a year and look at what woulda been my best stuff then, its absolute s**t when I know all I've learned.

I'm a very talented writer but I have a lack of motivation...like I see all these words, poems and stories I could write but I usually try to find a reason before I write...
