Riddle Me This.
First: t0shi0. Second: Melodic Silence. Third: Niphz.
This year, we'll be having a Riddle Competition. Everyday, I'll put up a new riddle - all the way until the 24th. Some may be easy, some may be really hard. Who knows. o: You can guess as many times as you want. I won't tell you whether you're wrong or right. :B Simply PM me the answer which you think is correct. There'll be three prizes for this. First: Choose from either 5k or a Gift Box. Second: Choose from either 2.5k or a Gift Box. Third: A Gift Box. c: First prize goes to whoever solves the most riddles correctly, etc.
Riddle One. What goes around the world yet stays in the corner?Answer: A stamp.
Riddle Two. A man is found dead in a room with no furniture, hung from his neck. The only thing there is a pool of water on the floor. What happened?Answer: He was standing on a block of ice when he put the noose around his head. The ice melted, thus creating the pool of water and ending the man's life.
Riddle Three. Take one out and scratch my head, I am now black but once was red.Answer: A match.
Riddle Four. What is it that goes up and goes down but does not move?Answer: The temperature.
Riddle Five. They belong to me. They belong to you. They can make you feel happy, or make you feel blue They never end until the day you do.Answer: Emotions.
Riddle Six. What is it that you cannot hold even ten minute, even though it is lighter than a feather?Answer: Your breath.
Riddle Seven. What has eyes but cannot see?Answer: A needle, or a storm, or a potato.
Riddle Eight. It is small and red, With a chimney sticking out the top. It has no doors or windows, And contains a star inside.Answer: An apple.
Riddle Nine. I am weightless, but you can see me. Put me in a bucket, and I'll make it lighter. What am I?Answer: A hole.
Riddle Ten. Pronounced as one letter, And written with three, Two letters there are, And two only in me. I'm double, I'm single, I'm black, blue, and gray, I'm read from both ends, And the same either way. What am I?Answer: Eye.
Riddle Eleven. The following number is the only one of its kind. '8,549,176,320' Can you figure out what is so special about it?Answer: It's the only number with all the digits in alphabetical order.
Riddle Twelve. What is once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a second?Answer: The letter 'm'.
Riddle Thirteen. Ravi’s father has four sons: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and _______?Answer: Ravi.
Riddle Fourteen. Even if they are starving, natives living in the Arctic will never eat a penguin’s egg. Why not?Answer: Penguins only live in the Antarctic.
Riddle 15 Four men approach a bridge at night. The bridge is old and rickety and can support, at most, two men going across at one time. They have only one flashlight to share between them. Each man has differing abilities and some take more time to cross than the others. The times it takes for each man to cross are: 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, and 10 minutes. When crossing in pairs, they can only cross as fast as the slowest man can go. How can all four men cross in only 17 minutes total?Answer: The 2 minute and 1 minute person go across. [2 minutes] The 1 minute person goes back. [3 minutes] The 5 minute and 1o minute person cross. [13 minutes] The 2 minute person goes back. [15 minutes] The 2 minute nad 1 minute go across. [17 minutes]
Riddle 16 A horse is tied to a 15 ft. rope and there is a bail of hay 25 ft. away from him. Yet the horse is able to eat from the bail of hay. How is this possible?Answer: The rope isn't tied to anything.
Riddle 17 What is heavier, a kilogram of feathers or a kilogram of lead?Answer: They're the same. :D
