Lance isn't a bad guess, neither is Giovanni. Yes it's Gary omfg! eek A friend likes to say it's Giovanni, but if it were, you think they'd make it apparent in the game for more drama. they do kind of look alike. the hair and such. Or would Ash's dad be a good guy and be lance? *gasp*

razz For all we know it could be brocks papa. they do have a certain similarity and he did have the oppritunity what with the roving about and all, Also brock's not-womanising had to be learned from somewhere. Thats my guess.

Thats my guess. *glares at Toli* No pocky for you blaugh anyway, I really doubt it was Flint, Brock's dad couldn't have been roaming that much. he left after Brock was 10 years old (since in one of the eppies you see a flashback where Brock's 10th b-day present was his Onix), and Ash would have been 5, plus the youngest of the kids in the family seem to be only 3-4 or so, so....yeah, doesn't really compute. As for me, I figure Giovanni or Oak. I think Oak is more interesting though, Gio is too cliche. The whole "I am your father" routine has been done to death...

Oak! :3 Which would make Ash Gary's uncle. It would explain a lot of things, Delia is the village whore (in the words of Tracey: "Save some for me, Mrs. K!"), Oak is a dirty old man, and Ash is a retarded crackbaby. Any questions? :3

So many people have speculated Professor Oak. I say Ash's father is some unknown character who we'll never see until a very later episode because they can't continune crapping out new continents.
For all we know his dad could be James. (Gasp!)
