So theres a house on fire just a few blocks away from my house. It's pretty bad, lots of fire trucks and smoke outside. D: Every year this happens. Theres always a few houses that catch on fire around Christmas time. This is probably the third or fourth. I hope the people there are okay.
Anybody here have similar stories? Ever have your house/anything else that belongs to you catch on fire?

e.e
That royally sucks. This is why one has to be careful to not fry one's circuitry and overload the sockets.
The worst that's ever happened to us, was our tree (fake - my mom's allergic to pine) falling over during one of our school christmas concerts and breaking about 3 ornaments. ;P
It was a good thing, though... we needed a new tree.

Ya almost every house where I live has a million lights on every night.
I think the its almost stopped. No more fire trucks are passing by and some of them seem to be leaving. I wish I could see it from my house bit I cannot.

Go outside and be one of those silly spectators that act horrified, but are actually entranced by the pretty flames. xD

I'm sure it is. ><
That really sucks. I don't think I'll be one of those people with a shitton of lights, specifically for that reason. =/

Likewhoa. Fire.
I don't think that I've ever been living near a house that caught on fire or lived in one, but here's something totally off-topic. Like a month ago there was this car accident right in front of our house. It was on the 3-way intersection, and our house is like right there, facing the other street. I didn't hear it, but my roommate Casey was telling her daughter, Elyssa to stay inside. So one car was sitting on the corner and the other one was flipped over in our neighbor-across-the-way's front yard. There was debris and stuff everywhere and eventually the cops came and cleaned it up and stuff.
It was terrible, but nobody got hurt, so I guessed it's okay to say that the car looked kinda cool upside-down.

!? !? ___________________________
I don't think any houses around my block have caught on fire around Christmas...none that I've noticed anyway. xD;;
But I believe this house on one of the other streets by mine caught on fire. I think my mom even told me that there was no electricity or anything like that wired up in the house either. P: So I guess it was an arson issue thing...or whatever.
Oh, and last year an apartment building caught on fire around the time I was taking this test thing. xP I saw the smoke when my mom picked me up.
And one last one that I can remember is hearing about my elementary school principal's house burning down.

That's really suckish Kait. Dx
Mmm, no major house fires for me. Though, one summer one of our neighbors' chimneys was on fire. Luckily one of our other neighbors noticed and told the people to put it out. x3
Oh, and once my mom got a sandwich from Arby's, which was wrapped in aluminum foil. She put it in the microwave and it caught fire and whatnot. My older brother grabbed it and ran it under some cold water.
She didn't get to eat her sandwich. xD
