I don't know about you, but I don't really like winter weather.
...well...that's because this is my first actual winter ever... sweatdrop
Right now for:
Louisville, KY (40214)
Partly Cloudy
31 F
Feels like
22 F
Yeah...FREAKING COLD. DX
I'm so used to it being like...60-70 degrees in the winter, so my wardrobe consists of capris and t-shirts, with the occasional thin sweater.
I'm on a destruction path to pneumonia.
ANYWAY!
What's winter like for you? I know some people here actually hate it. Do you have any cheap sure-fire tips to beat the cold?
Are you looking forward to seeing snow on Christmas, if you live where it snows?
Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go find some cheap jackets online.

At the moment I'm wearing two pairs of socks and a hoody made of steel. (Well it should be it's freezing in the UK). neutral

9AM, Rainy, 45 degrees Fahrenheit feels like 38
My house has...
The wood stove going, which cranks up the temp to about 80 degrees,
literally.
I am.....
Sitting here in a tanktop, sweatpants, and my hair in a bun.
Socks would be taken off, but I prefer to wear them when kittens attack my feet.
I personally like the cold weather. I grew up in the mountains,
and you couldn't get me inside the house for hours once
the snow started coming down.
=/ Now I just live where it rains.
And rains. and Rains.
xD; This is my first proper winter this year, but
only because it's freezing outside.

I just need to say one word:
California.
It's finally raining outside, but I'm nekkid in my house.
And if I were to go outside, I'd probably wear shorts and a thin, rain repellent (they're not called repellent. What are they called?) jackets… go figure.
But I llllloooooveee winter.
That and summer since I get to go to the beach. But I loooovvveee winter!

I hate winter so much.
It's so cold.
Right now it's about 10 F out.
Yesterday, with wind chill, it was in the negatives...

Kaachan - Hehe. I used to live where where it was hot, then mild, the warm, then hot.
Nor - ....I'm just going to leave it at that. sweatdrop
Timmy - I know. DX I walk out the door and I want to go back in. D: then I'm chatterin my jaw in the car for about twenty minutes because I can't warm up.
Voice - We got leaves in our yard still. the only thing that was caked today in ice was my mom's car...and she was. not. pleased.
Her car, which is blue, was now white. xD

I love the winter! Standing outside, feeling the cool breeze on your skin. The white, fluffy snow. Breathing in that air.
It's too warm for my liking here in PA. it's 29 F. Too warm. I'm still wearing only my sweater. Still not cold enough for my Winter Jacket
*Sighs* I wish the temperature would drop....
CURSE YOU GLOBAL WARMING!
Everyone's probably going to find me a freak or something XD.

&&&&Winter and I have a love-hate relationship. DX
Sometimes I love the snow/cold weather, and sometimes I just want it to go away. ><;
Like yesterday, there was a snow day and I thought going outside and helping my mom shovel out the driveway was a good idea...however my fingers didn't agree. Although it was sunny and quite pretty out, the temperature was horribly cold, and the wind was blowing.
If it wasn't for my friend's ski gloves and physically shoving me back into the tundra, I would have given up early. xD;&&&&

breathe...

It`s pretty much been that cold out the past two weeks with a few days being about 50 F on the odd days.
But right now it`s only 27 F and feels like 18 F due to windshield factor.
(and in canadian terms, it is -1 C out right now with a low point of -8 C tonight which is about 14 F sweatdrop )
It`s been cold this winter so far.. I am surprised since the past few years now it`s been pretty warm here and we end up getting no snow on christmas.. so maybe this year we`ll have snow biggrin
My room is damn cold at night though, i am not a fan. I have to shut my door at night or else i cannot get any sleep as my room is right beside the living room stare

Electric blankets, hot chocolate, snow days, staying
inside all day... :]
Hmm.. it's 38 F out hurr in Mitten Land.
My feet and hands are freezing (but they're always like that. sweatdrop )
and I'm wearing jeans and a long sleeved shirt.
Oh, and the heater in my room is broken, so it gets so friggin
cold in here at night. =/
