This might be a silly question but I was just wondering if you need to use a certain type of brush to define strands of hair in PS. I use a mouse so can I use a soft round or would a different shaped one be better?

For hair perhaps if you can set the fade on the size. This causes the brush to become really small depending on how many pixels you set it to become smaller. I know I've used this from time to time really great for strands. Also I use this for wrinkles in clothing.
