Yeah, I noticed alot of Emo, and Emo related threads, and I thought it'd be nice for the Punks, Ravers, etc to chat.
Yes, I know the title is the 'Emo guild' but it seems most threads revolve around the stereotypical MCR listening, wrist slitting, poser emo.
If you want to be like that though, I'm not bashing, I just do not like them, in general. Actually I have yet to find a poser emo I like.

But back on topic. So, whats all you all's favorite sub genre's, favorite music in said genre, favorite styles, where to shop for nice clothes, and the like.

My favorite sub Genre of Rave/Trance music would have to be Industrial Fast Beat, and my favorite artist would have to be Dogzilla. I recomend the song 'Without you', while ingesting a few differant substances, which I will not state, because I don't feel like having to combat a bunch of DARE and or TRUTH/Above the Influence kiddies who know nothing on the substance.
But if you want some nice looking Rave inspired clothes, Cyber Dog is always nice, prices are a pretty penny, though.

I draw my personal style from old skool Rave and Punk clothing ^_^

I need to post some pic's from the last Rave I went to, ended up taking some Special K (Ketamine), E/X/MDMA, 2c-B, DMX, a few drops of blotter, and a joint or so.
Nothing's more fun than talking to yourself, while riding the back of a dragon, flying through a milky sky, and having an orgy, at the same time.

Which do you like more, clothing style wise, Punk or Rave?
I'd say they are equal for me, I love to wear my Tripps, bright colors with dark, and glow/neon s**t, but I also love some tight punk pants and band t's, though thats started becoming 'emo' now. I'll just stick with my tight ripped pants with stitches, studded belts, Punk hoodies, Neon Bling, glow sticks, and Glow in the Dark TuK's.
Perfect combo.

I didn't say I liked emo, I hate it. And punk music, for the most part.

People say I'm a huge metal head. I like everything from Dream Theater, to Iced Earth, Kreator, Finntroll, Naglfar, Helloween, SlipKnot, and so on.

I was told that if I were to fit into a scene based on how I'm dressed it would be the Beck scene lol.

Punk or metal are most likely my favorite genre and the subs/off shoots.

I think it's punk more so then metal now, if you would have asked me back in 1st-8th grade I would have said Metal.

I love Goth, Emo, Hardcore, Punk, Post-Punk, Alternative Rock, Noise Rock. I don't like Post-Hardcore however.

I have to say that I love the OLD punk music like The Ramones and The Clash. Lots of people call me emo put I'm just a skater/punk-ish person. I also like pop-punk like blink-182, green day and sum 41.
