I'm doing a group cosplay of the females from Chobits ( we have no Ms.Hibya though...), and I'm Freya. I was wondering if anyone else cosplays~
Also making my own costume, matching with my friend, who is doing Chii. The costumes that the pair wears can be pretty complicated... especially since I have almost no experience in sewing.. sweatdrop
So:
+ Does joo cosplay?
+ Ever made your own costume?
+ Wanna give me some tips on making costumes? xD;;

A couple of friends wanted me to do it though
they wanted to do a Maria-Sama ga Miteru cosplay ^3^
I would do it, but we were needing a Sachiko-sama so we ended up never taking it forward ;T

I might be going to Anime Expo
this year with a friend from here (Indulge [In Words])
and we're going to cosplay as Rikku and Yuna.
xP I don't mind cosplaying, it's a bit like
Halloween for me. <33
I'd rather go as Winry from FMA though.
Or maybe some random schoolgirl with a hammer. ;D

erm... Tips~
Don't make the costume too soon in advanced
because then it may not fit the same later. O:
It's easiest if you can find a pattern that is close to
being like your desired costume, instead of trying to wing it,
which is h a r d e r. ^^"

I'm going to my first anime convention this year... whee ....and I'm cosplaying as Sakura Haruno from Naruto Shippuden. Originally I took a few things out of my closet and put them together to make a costume for her. but then I found this old pink shirt and turned the sleeves into her armwarmers and the rest of the shirt became her skirt, slits and all! I'm planning on getting a sewing pattern for the shirt though.
I tried to persuade my friend to cosplay, but she's too embarassed. She doesn't even tell her other friends because at her school anime fans who tell that they like anime get rejected because some anime fans cosplayed at school and it was considered weird.
I tried to get her to just tie her hair up in the style of ino and wear a purple shirt, people would get the idea, but she hates Ino so.... no luck.

I'm going to Fanime-con this year ^_^
it's my first convention! yay!
I cosplayed a girl NAruto Uzumaki, because I already had the jacket, but you know what..?
ORANGE PANTS ARE HARD TO FIND!!!!!
so I'm thinking of buying a tsunade, temari, or ino outfit for fanime, bvecause I'm blonde and I refuse to dye my hair or wear a wig cuz wigs are itchy, so my options are limited ^_^
I made a sesshomaru costume last year. it took three weeks of intense sewing and shopping. and it still kind of sucked ^_^;

I believe it or not have never been to a convention. So I haven't ever had a reason to cosplay.

I was in a cosplay group where we were gonna do a Zelda theme for animecon. I was gonna be Sheik. But then they changed the theme to Lucky Star, so I had to quit.

for making your own costumes I go to a lot of fabric stores and my mom's sews a lot, so I'm good. Comparing pics and asking other cosplayers in another good way. I'm going to be 009 from Cyborg 009 at Kumoricon2008. Last Kumoricon I was L. :3 There were a lot of Ls.

I want to cosplay. I think I'm okay with sewing as long as I have a pattern or a piece of clothing similar to what I want to copy off of.
Except now with my new hair I'm not sure who I could pull off. I was thinking maybe movie Utena... Or Amane from Strawberry panic. Except my family would tease me if I dyed my hair pink or blue. sweatdrop

Xy. . . You should defiantly do it. Like for real. Just tape your boobs down. Or wear lots of sports bras or something.
As for me? I wanted to cosplay as Pip from Hellsing, but then I could find a wig the right color or boots that looked right.
That and the fact that, well, I`m short. So. . . Hm.

I had to look up who Grimmjow was but that's insane. eek
I think a way you could do it is to tape your boobs apart and towards your armpits or something? Maybe easier to hide them if they're small. Then use like double sided tape to tape your jacket to your chest so they don't peek? But even if it works that would be terribly uncomfortable.
Maybe just wear a white sports bra and go as the female version?
