So if any of you have seen the movie blades of glory you probably know what the galloping peacock is. If you don't clicky Galloping PeacockWell my friend and I were trying to re-create the galloping peacock while lake skating over the weekend. It didn't end well. Now my butt hurts and so does her shoulder. It may have been partly because of us trying to use saucer sleds as snowboards and constantly falling... If I could post the video I have of me falling I would xd Have any problems with winterized fun before?

OH man...I don't remember it too well but anyways, me and my friends were staying up in their cabin in Tahoe to spend the Winter. We were having a blast, till we find this steep hill. We have a tobaggons and we decide to go down the thing. Next thing you know we're at the bottom of the hill laughing.
I forget how long we were out there for, but so long our parents got so worried they came out to get us. They were PISSED. They threw us into the back of they're truck and drove us back to the cabin. We got such a scolding...

Once, will exiting school last year, I was rushing because I was scared to be late for my bus (it'd taken a while to get everything together). Out of the whole cement ground, I just happened to slip up on the small patch of ice near the entrance. My bag was heavy that day and I fell right on my back (somewhat cushy but still surprising landing). It took me a few moments to get up. One guy offered to pull me up, but I levered myself off my bag. I felt so embarrassed.

I fall down at least once every winter. My only hope is to not break my tailbone, split my lip, or get scraped up too badly. Right now it's not ideal because when snow melts a bit then freezes it's slippery as hell. D:

I called her on the phone and she touched herself... That definitely looks like it could end painfully.
Man I miss skating.. I used to free-skate with my family just about every weekend in the winter but we stopped that several years ago.
Hardly any of my friends skate. =( ...I laughed myself to sleep.

Well, one time I went out to the bus stop and the snow was so thick I could barely move. The only reason we had school was because of the highschool and their stupid exams...

YESTERDAY.
There were 1400 accidents in one city by itself.
The county schools got out,
the city schools that I am in, had school. :l
My math teacher drove into a ditch,
my tech teacher had a major accident and didn't come.
Guess what weather we had ?
Ice.
Lots and lots of ice, all over the roads.
Half of the teachers wern't there until later,
and one of my friends that rides a bus or a bike, didn't come,
I called her, her phone went to voicemail,
she never called me back.
I am REALLY worried about her.
If she rode the bus, I think that her bus crashed,
or maybe her other dog died,
maybe her hives came back,
I just really hope that she isn't dead or dying.
Pray for her ?

She has been my friend for 3 and a half years.
I don't want to lose her now.

All of my friends own their own skates and we go free skating every friday, sometimes I like to go on Saturday too. Yet I suck at skating (well the jumping and crap)

I would stand in line for this
Once, it iced in like November and I fell down outside of work.
A billion people were like "HOSHIT" because I was still pregnant then.
Damned black ice. I was just walking along and SPLAT, totally landed on my a**|back. My manager pretty much came flying outside and was all "DO I NEED TO CALL 911?!!!"
It really wasn`t a hard fall though. I think I was just the first one of the day, and people are excitable and whatnot. :/

Wow, Poet, I can some how imagine my social studies teacher doing that.
She was pregnant, but had her baby sometime in December.
She's on materinty leave right now,
she comes back next month.
In other news,
My friend was back in school today,
Her mom let her stay home yesterday.
I asked her why she didn't call me back and she said that it was too late.
I called her at like 4 pm.
She could have called me back,
but either way, I am so glad that she was back. biggrin

@Bella - W00T! December babies! I`m still on leave as well. I dunno if I`ll go back when my six weeks are up or not. I doubt I`ll feel comfortable leaving my son with a strange person for multiple hours on end. . .
@sam- I can`t ice skate at all. People are like "it`s just like rollarskating."
No, it`s not. `Coz I can do that.
You make me jealous `coz you can ice skate. >:[

Anywho.
Poet: Heh, it's funny cause I can ice skate but I've never been able to rollerskate. Maybe if I had a smooth enough surface but the roads and sidewalks that I tried on before sucked pretty bad. ...I laughed myself to sleep.
