*gigglefit* So for those of you who don't know I grew up watching Star Trek The Next Generation with my parents, (and now watch the original series on weekends with hubby) so when I came across this pattern it was a must make. It took a grand total of three hours over two days to make it, and I love it! I'm going to have to make one each for my parents. XD So without further ado, my trekie washcloth! biggrin

I was watching Open House (the worlds worst musical thats made it to mass-produced DVD) and my girlfriend's dad was like "Where do i know him from?" And i was like 'ITS CAPTAIN PICARD!" and they were like "who?" and i was like "the captain of the enterprise... wait... you guys don't watch star trek, do you?" ... yeah... thats my random star-trek story of the now.

Anyways.

That is most randomly awesome. whee

Hee hee. Love it. I used to watch NG and Voyager with my mom all the time...along with Stargate and Star Wars.

I'm quite possibly the biggest trekkie in the universe.
I sell star trek sweaters at sci-fi conventions. My designs are nice, boxy comfy sweaters-that just happen to have the TNG shirt design on them. They're kind of adorable.
but I don't really like this washcloth design, it would have been wonderful with some color knitting instead. if the chevron was gold, or red, and the rest was black, that would be great.
the white washes everything out.
