As long as they're not extremists and can tolerate criticism, I'm pretty okay with Muslim as well as all other religions.
As for people being afraid, they're scared that all Muslims will have you beheaded if you say something bad about their religion. Obviously this isn't the case with all Muslims; the news just shows the negative side more often, so most people do think Muslims are extremists...

Wow..is this a powder keg of a subject. Individually, I'm sure they're great people. As a society, they have committed some very grave social crimes. But If those crimes warrant being invaded and occupied by Bush Co. .....I'm not so sure.ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY MetallicA !!!

They are no better or worse then almost any other religion, really. (well, Buddhists haven't gone on any crusades, and don't have much history of killing people that I know of, but then again they do not worship any gods or deities as part of their religion...) I think it's silly that the Christians, Jews, and Muslims are fighting as much as they are when THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME GOD. Seriously, if you look at their holy books, you see that their god is the god of Abraham, from whom all of them trace their linage back to Adam.

I have no problems with Muslims. I have Muslim family members actually. However, I do see their problems with us or rather the governments of the Western World. I won't go into a rant about it like I usually do but with a bit of a history lesson we can pretty much figure out that 9/11 didn't occur because of jealousy towards our freedom. That is, if you believe the official reports surrounding 9/11.

I think that people who think that all musslims are terrorist are insane. You shouldn't judge a person based on their religion... nor should they should be singled out for what they believe.

People are afraid of them cause the taliban is made up of muslums, but muslums aren't the taliban. That's what people tend to forget.
I have 'family'(step femily of my 2nd cousin and his mom [who is my mums cousin]) so when people say muslums are bad people, I get sorta mad...I get mad when somebody says anything prejudice actually.

Well most of your statement I agree with the they may worship the same god all three diverge from each other at some point, Christianity believes that Jesus was the messiah while the other two at most refer to him as a prophet, juedism believes the messiah has not yet come, and Muslims do not believe in a messiah at all. those and other differnces are what have created tension between these beliefs. Also I think people who fear Muslims are ignorant morons. Many religions have had extremists the only reason it's focussed on Muslims right now is because they currently have the most active extremist groups right now.

i dont think people are actually afraid of muslims so much as thier beliefs. some people get sceptical becuase they seem so starnge and different. just because they think different they are the same as everyone

Theres is nothing wrong muslim , usama beladen wasnt a real muslim because allah would tell them to kill other or there selves
words from the quran :
Saving ones live is like saving everyones life
& taking others like is like talking everyones life or yours
